If you never tried, you would not know that only quick posts are possible on mobile browsers. Some smart phones have special apps for forums that allow more functionality but Simtropolis is not supported.

As do I. It's interesting, they've somewhat come back into vogue, and it's easy to point to why: vending machines. Now that people are buying not just drinks and snacks but also more expensive things like train tickets and parking passes from vending machines, it has become common to be getting several dollars in change from one. Thing is, I've yet to see a vending machine that can give bills in change. Hence, the dollar coins.

Though, I've also heard the argument made that it speaks to how much the dollar has gotten devalued by inflation that dollar coins aren't considered silly anymore. I suppose there's something to that.

I don't see dollar bills ceasing production at any point in the foreseeable future, though...

See, I never got this whole idea of needing to limit your access to money to control your spending of it. I've always had the opposite problem: I hate spending money, and will do some rather weird and socially offputting things in order to avoid having to do so.
