FTW is the acronym of For The Win, and used in reference to something awesome, in common net parlance a "win". It is similar to several other acronyms which mean entirely different things. Tourism Federation of Wisconsin, for one.

I did it with work when I despised my job.

Although slander ensued. I found out that my boss was claiming I was a drunk since that was the only reason he could think of as to why I would be late. The real reason? Sarah was working until 2am and I picked her up. Hard to make a 6am start after that. But like I said, I didn't care for that job too much.

Probably for the best you did - it's not a good idea to handle snakes unless you are a trained professional.

Of course, as you don't live in Australia, you are unlikely to encounter many of the most deadly snakes... any of the top 10, actually .All those live here...
