What a fun page this is. No topic whatsoever but just as intriguing as any other.

Edit: Well, now my post is irrelevant. But yeah, borking. Lobsters are attacking!

Skimbo, did you make the GIF of the dragon listening to music? You have alternated between that and your pencil drawings of dragons for a couple months now.

I love Bach's "Little" Fugue in G Minor! Bach is Baroque, not Classical but many people include Baroque and Romantic in with Classical.

EDIT: Oh, I thought that your avatar depicted a pilot! I did not know that your avatar depicted someone from MegaMan.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

Rockman DASH (Megaman Legends) used that tune for the final boss battle. That game and its sequel (from which my avatar hails) randomly stuck a few pieces of classical music in the soundtrack for some reason or other.

5525. On the topic of video game soundtracks, One-Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

Speaking of video game soundtracks my favorites were Vitural Cop for the Sega Saturn, Goldeneye 007 for the N64 and Rogue Warrior for the PS3. Also Army Men for the N64 had a cool soundtrack too.

Over 6 hours between posts in this thread, and it would have been longer had I been a good boy and gone to bed at a reasonable time rather than staying up and watching TV shows on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's iView - although the series on the planets is quite interesting.

No link, as the videos are only available inside Australia.

No it's not. That's just an orchestral recreation, not the actual track from the game.

Meh. I like it.

Certainly more than I like the metal version (which is another thing entirely).

Oh don't be so melodramatic. 5 days, 20 hours, and 56 minutes elapsed between that post and your previous one here. Less than a week!

(there were 117 posts by others in the meantime)

5541. Hm... I have a few assignments I should be doing right now, but I can't figure out quite how to go about one of them.

Well, since it seems we have, yet again, no topic, Carl Sagan and his Pale Blue Dot.

I couldn't help myself, and just read the SI article about Ben Roethlisberger, Someone told me it mentioned my ex-girlfriend's restaurant... which it did, but no mention of any of her experiences with him. When she worked there, she was instructed that she, and only she was to wait on him, because of her experience. Malarky, because we all know it was because she is cute, and Mr. R would not tolerate an unattractive waitress. He did sign my jersey for her, which she wore to work when he came in. What a pile of useless thread that is now.

On an unrelated note, being single after over six years is weird.
