I recently bought a song off of iTunes, which is rare for me because I normally choose to go out to this store in the city and buy full CDs from there. Naturally, I discovered the CD that contains that song in my parents' vast collection of CDs. Well, at least the version I bought it longer...by about 4 minutes..making it 8 minutes long...ish...

Nope, I always buy CDs. The one or two songs you here on the radio are usually good, but there are soooo many more great songs deeper into the various CDs. (With some exceptions of course.)

That and I prefer to own a hard copy of my music and whatnot to a "digital download" any day.

The only CDs I buy are ones I really really like. Otherwise I buy digitally. I haven't bought any music, aside from the latest Deftones CD in May, for quite a while.

When I was in Australia (14 years ago) the difference was much greater. $1.00 US was ~ $1.25 AUS.

Of course, one can't really have a hard copy of free music that you get on newgrounds or anything (you know, stuff that people compose/arrange/remix themselves and post up under Creative Commons license, etc)

8705 - I am not very impressed with Steam anymore... I get computer games really for one purpose; to entertain me when I have no internet; which is very frequent during summer months. Well while I was heading to Toronto (we flew) I tried to play Civ V and Steam said "PLAY IN OFFLINE MODE" so I clikced it and then gave me a "Your internet connection is not valid." error and shut down. SO looks like you cant play Civ V while offline. Not very impressed about this.
