Well la de da! Look at what i did! O well, iv decided to add a part two! But 1st some replies

Update 3 (and a half)

ST. KIRST CITY, FOLLOMER SYNDICATE, 15 MINUTES AFTER INITAL ASSAULT

The great city lay in flames, the American F-15s had since retreated only to be replaced by French Rafaels and British Alpha Jets.

"... Rhapsody to Allied fighters, check in, will give coordinants to targets..."

"...Zhis is Rebuchet... 10 kilometers to target, requesting designation for target aquisition..."

"...This is Lynx, checking in, targets lined up, tally ho!"

And the British dived towards the city wreaking havoc on the already frayed city. People were screaming and trying to get away.

Over the city C-17s were dropping paratroopers to assist the Marines already on the ground. It was a bloodbath for any of the Home Guard troops in the city, men were dying by the dozens. It seemed as if this was going to be a quick war.

OUTSKIRTS OF ST KIRST, FOLLOMER SYNDICATE

The men of the 12th Marine Brigade were advancing towards the burning city. Private Mike Edwards was a member of the Media Corps, attached to the 12th, he and several other Marines headed by Gunnery Sargeant Ivan Richards were slowly advancing along a ditch near a farm when suddenly the "Gunny" as they called him ordered them down.

"What the hell?" Edwards whispered "I dont see anything!"

"Boy, if theres one thing you'll learn is that Gunny don't lie." another Marine said

Edwards nodded at this and kept his rifle ready, cuz if theres one thing he'd already learned is that Corperal Tex Johnson doesn't lie. Then in the distance he heard a gun fire and a bullet hit the levee in front of him.

"Damn!" he yelled out.

He fired off a random shot out of anger and he heard a scream.

"Hey! Good job kid! Ya got one." And Tex slapped his back. Edwards almost felt bad for him as he saw a Follomeran medic pop his head up as he ran to his fallen comrade, only to be gunned down himself.

"OK, we got a platoon of those bastards over there, on my mark we charge Rameriez you toss a few and Johnson, you got your AT-4?"

Tex lugged out what you would normally call a bazooka.

"Yes sir!"

"Good, fire it on my mark.... Wait.... Now!"

Tex shot off his missle and Rameriez threw a few granades. The rest of the men charged at the confused enemies quickly gunning them down, the Marines jumping into their ditch.

Then Michael D. Edwards just realized what was lurking no more than 500 yards away.

"Sir" he said "I think we pissed off a tank..."

Uh oh, what will happen to our intrepid Marines? Stay tuned to find out!

Oh yeah, a chance to show off my "Enforcer"! Here is a pic of the tanks Follomer uses in it's military. The smaller on is the Enforcer medium tank, and the two larger ones are Behemoth heavy tanks. The Behemoths are going to come into play later in the story, so that tank you just saw in the story would most likely be an Enforcer.

And as i predicted, the Home Guard suck. lol Don't worry, the fight will get heavier once the regular army and marines come back to defend the city. Great story so far too, you have a good way of telling it. I'm really enjoying these side stories to the larger plot.

Like Archaen said, an excellent side story which contributes to the overall story line. Your city building skills are exceptional, I love the highway that goes right by the downtown with the sound walls, very realistic. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to seeing more!

Howdy partners! Well as you can see from both my and Archeans cjs that the war is going EXCEPTIONALLY well for the Allies! However that might change soon (dun dun daaaaa!) Well heres a preview of the next update "The Home Front"

"... Now going to Jonathan British live from the Follomeran front, Jonathan?"

".... Anderson.... As you can see the center of the battle here in St. Kirst is.... zone, there are.... arines and Spetsnaz.... Here comes an Allied tank now......"

The camera switches back to the CNN news desk to a shocked anchor and a large explosion

He cleared his throat

"... uh ladies and gentlemen.... Reports are sketchy... but it seems like there was a large.... yes a large nuclear like explosion near the city of Denver... your watching this live folks..."

Then the image of the explosion was replaced by static.

Uh oh! It seems that the tank commander update I was planning will have to be put on hold, darn. But was it Vice Chancellor Tessa? Chancellor Tristian? Achmed the Dead Terrorist? Find out in the next installment of Ravenholm!

Denver was blowed up!? That certainly wasn't Tristan's doing, since Follomer doesn't utilize nuclear weapons anymore after the Uniden City incident. (check the old Follomer Chancellery thread) That rules out the Follomerian government, who else could have done something so horrible?

Well, it certainly wasn't the River Bend Militia. They're currently en route to Follomer, in support of the Americans.

Well, we're waiting for more news on that large explosion near the city of Denver. All we know is that Colorado Springs is gone, the entire city, the Air Force Academy, however NORAD seems to be unharmed. We have confirmed that an unidentified missile was seen shortly before the explosion, rescue teams are in the area now searching for survivors.

I will report further in the next update, but for now, here are some replies

Well, here we are, update 3! But it will be a sad one, because it was suspected that a new kind of fusion bomb (possibly Agonite) was detonated in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Well here we go

THE HOME FRONT

Jimmy Clark was watching CNN News in horror, he couldn't belive what he was seeing. Around him his family with the same looks of horror.

"... And rescue teams are searching for survivors. At this time we don't know who could've done this dastardly act..."

He couldn't watch any longer

"Honey, kids. Pack your things, were going to Grandma's"

His mother, Agnes, lived in Bend, Oregon.

Without hesitation his children, Steve and Jenny left the room leaving their parents to pack their things.

The family got into their SUV as the sun was just rising. It was beginning to sprinkle as they pulled out of their driveway and onto the avenue

Other families had gotten the same idea and frantically tried to leave the city on I-57. It was so congested that the National Gaurd was there to support the overworked State Troopers in directing the traffic.

They pulled onto the overcrowded freeway, Jim looked over into the opposite lane, completly empty.

The family pulled into the Jacobson Memorial Tunnel Network headed north. It was an engineering feat of onramps, freeways and tunnels built under the Northbeach Construction Zone.

Finally they emerged out of the West Tunnel onto the Raven Bay Bridge, Jim turned on the radio only to hear the same news that was on the TV.

"... Again we urge people not to panic. For those just tuning in, a large nuclear-like explosion occured and leveled Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is KRAV..."

This was going to be a long trip.

Well, it seems that people didn't follow the DJ's advice and paniked by leaving the city all at once. So what will happen? How will the US retaliate? Where did my pizza go? Why am I asking you these questions? So stay tuned for the next installment of: RAVENHOLM

Haha! Its our one month anneversary here at Ravenholm! So to celebrate Ima gonna take a break from the war, call a temporary truce, and give you some random pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So grab your party hat and come home from the war cuz its (temporary) peace here baby!

Well here we are, Update 4: Vindication

Captain Mark Trippson was sitting in his command chair in the UNSC Frigate Spectre. He hadn't moved an inch since he got the news about Colorado Springs. His and four other ships were waiting in dock for their orders to attack the Follomeran Fleet, Trippson had other plans. His son went to the Air Force Academy and was killed when the famous chapel collapsed with him inside.

"Smith, take us up..."

"But sir.."

"DO IT SMITH!"

His voice reverberated throughout the bridge, the frightened Helmsman plotted in a corse into orbit. The brand new ship lifted from her dock.

"...UNSC Spectre, this is Cairo Control, return to dock now sir..."

The ship continued to rise into the sky towards  the waiting Follomeran fleet

The captain of another ship, the Amphion, called to him

"...Trippson, damnit get back here, Im not afraid to attack you..."

The second ship rose into the sky following the Spectre

The Spectre was in orbit now moving towards the enemy fleet.

"Grigoryev, arm the MAC gun and any missiles we have, match target berings and shoot on my order."

"Yes sir..."

He pressed a few buttons

"Weapons armed and targeted sir."

"Good, activate electrostatic plate shielding"

A few seconds went by before the enemy fleet was visible

"Fire on my mark..... NOW!"

The MAC Gun exploded sending a uranium shell hurling towards one of the ships. The missle tubes shot out missiles towrads another.

By now the enemy fleet had noticed and had started firing at them

An explosion rocked the bridge

"SIR! Taking direct..."

BOOM! The Ops Officer was dead

Captain Trippson heard another voice over the speakers

"... DAMNIT TRIPPSON! WERE TAKING HITS! RETREATING DOWN INTO ATMOS....ERE!!!!!..."

Captain Trippson of the UNSC Frigate Spectre sat in his command chair watching a round explode into the bridge, killing all inside...

Uh oh! Captain killed his crew to avenge his son's death. Classic. Well stay tuned to Ravenholm!
