Hello everyone,

After reading the official FAQ on Trading I become very very confused.

Link: http://www.citiesxl.com/content/view/797/130/?lang=en

Is it just me or is that information extremely innacurate?

How much is a Cash Token worth?

1 Cash Token = +1000 Credits in your Cashflow

Reality: 4022 Tokens = 40220 Credits

Next my contract with mr DonMadalff.

He buys stuff for 166?  166 tokens?

166 beeing 1660 credits and not 166000 as the FAQ is implying?

I don't even want to go in on the rest of the FAQ.

Any comments guys?

you are correct. a cash token is worth 10 credits, not 1000.  They must have updated the FAQ because I just checked it and it says just that; 1 token = 10 cash flow.

Thanks for pointing this out, manuelandrei. There was indeed a mistake in the FAQ, that we corrected following your post.

A Cash Token is worth +10 Credits in your Cashflow.

    Excellent.

I believe the following FAQ statement might be incorrect as well:

What are the prices applied by Omnicorp?

    Contract terms with Omnicorp:

    • To buy 1 Token of a specific sector/resource from Omnicorp, you have to pay 15 Cash Tokens.
    • To sell a specific resource you need to provide at least 3 Tokens of this resource, and you will have by default 5 Cash Tokens from Omnicorp.
Omnicorp sells 1 token for 1500 cash tokens not 15.

Omnicorp buys 1 token for 166  cash tokens not 3 for 5.

    Last but not least.

The sell/buy  offers are reversed in the trading window on the website. (se attachment) compared to the trading window in game.

According to the website Omnicorp is buying 1 resource  for 1500 tokens and sells one for 166 tokens.

    I believe its the opposite.

that does seem odd. are there no mouse over tool tips to explain what the numbers mean? those numbers should have some kind of units attached to it. are those cash tokens, actual cash, number of other tokens, people, apples? I'll be downloading the demo tonight so I have no clue.

The prices used when trading are credit tokens. Which makes 1500 tokens = 15000 actual cash
