A legend has passed away. He will always be remembered by the guitar that bears his name.

An Incredible loss to the music wold.

Every one who plays today owes him.

Very, very few people in any musical genre will ever affect music as much as Les Paul. An all-around genius, his shoes will go eternally unfilled.

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

And they've always been "high" in prices. But nontheless, he's a great man that defined the look and feel of rock. He will be missed.

No not at all. He was the inventor of the Les Paul but he has no direct influence on the prices. They will still be made by Gibson and Epiphone in the same quantity that they were made before and sold for the same price that they were before he died.
