How to get area 51

On the UDI mode, there is an optoin to drive a UfO or a whale but it requires area 51. When I looked at the gifts section, area 51 was not listed. Is there a way to get area 51 or is it a plugin?

It wont show up in the list untill you unlock it. You need to do the evil ice cream truck, evil freight train, and evil crop duster plain missions to unlock it. Or you can press Ctrl+X (on a PC) to bring u the cheat menu. Then just type "You don't deserve it" (without the quotes) If you have the deluxe edition (I don't know about the idividual versions) There is a booklet in it and at the end is a list of the missions and what they unlock. How do you get the evil ice-cream truck missions?

 I think you need to build four separate schools.  The mission requires you to bring the truck within range of a number of different schools.  Whether private or public, I don't know.

drive the ice cream truck and you'll be asked to play the missions. do the evil one given to you by the strange doctor-person (can't remember his name).

go to the udi mode and click the ice cream truck under the automobile tab

or find it driving around with the blue icon floating above it

i think you need a lot of commercial also

I think there is an alternative way other then the UDI or "You don't deserve it". I've heard if you play a city on hard difficulty setting you can earn it through mayor mode.

or get your city close to bankruptcie and get it to earn mony and get the vehicals

If you want to get area 5.1 quickly: hole ctrl+x and type in: you don't deserve it

In one of my cities, the area 51 icon is there, but it says it's already in my city. But I still cant drive the whale or UFO

Check the manual for the u-drive-it missions you need to complete to get it. Or, you can use the cheat mentioned above to unlock it along with everything else. Additionally, Area 5.1 can be unlocked if you meet certain low-funds conditions.

Is the air force base in that city? Cuz i think it doesn't let you have both in one city. There is a mod that fixes that...let me see if i can find it...Here it is

If you desperatly want to get Area 51, go to the STEX and download the RH Rewards Unlocked mod.
