Having more than one type of train/tram etc

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some variety in my cities. I would like to know if there are any STEX downloads that add trams/trains to the existing ones, rather than replacing them.

To my knowledge, you have to have one one type of tram "skin." The exception... and I can't look for it now... is that there is a group of like 4 colored EL stations that "spawn" the same colored trams, allowing for "lines." I have never used this, so don't know how good or bad this is.

There are also some plopable stations that appear as stations that have two styles of trams on them, to give the appearance of diversity.

The tram mod Retep Molinari is referring to is probably the SFBT GLR Tram Mod. It does come with four different colored trams that are all single-car. There is a 'No Maxis' file included that you can remove from the plugins to have the game's default train present also. However, it will be multi-car and might not look very appropriate on the GLR lines.

Remember 3 years ago Cloud Strife made an unreleased mod where you can have light rail and elevated rail trains at the same time without them mixing? He converted a few GLR stations into subway ones.
