My map is still under water even after the 1500m plugin

Hi guys,
I’m still very new with all this and I need some help.

I’ll make this short and to the point.
I’m trying to load a map of Denver. I got it to load up but it’s mostly underwater. I noticed I need the 1500m mod.
After loading that mod still nothing happens. It’s still under water. I guess my question is… do I need to load the 1500m mod before I render the map? If the mod should work regardless, what else can I try?

You do need the height mod in the plugins before you render the map.  Just render the region again, it should turn out ok with the height mod in the plugins folder.  Once the region is rendered, don't forget to remove the height mod.

Thank you, I'll try it again later tonight and post the results.

I'm just now starting to understand how plugins work. Forgive my *****ness.

Can I make a suggestion? Thanks for moving my thread to the correct forum, but can a PM be sent to the original poster with a link to where it was moved to. I was a bit lost there for a second trying to find my thread that even a search couldn't locate. Again, forgive my *****ness, lol.

    Thanks again!

I just realized an email was sent to me to notify me of the move.

    Sorry.

Yes, a PM might be more convenient in some cases, but that isn't an option when moving a topic. That might be something that could changed in the future, although it might be that both would be used. I know that members don't always check their email, but would see a PM when logging on.

okay, this time I can see the mod worked... but... it did the opposite. It raised the water level by 1500m instead of lowering it. Now all of Denver is completely under water, lol.

I tried the 500m and it barely gave me some islands. So it's like I need a -1500m mod to work. What am I doing wrong? How can I lower the sea level instead of raising it?

Are there different mods? I'm using "BLaM_Sea_Level_Mod" and using the 1500m like the download file asked.

That might be the problem as I am not familiar with the BLaM mod.  The most used are the mods MallowtheCloud posted. Link to download that set

Just saw this thread and thought I would share this... It's the post where Mallow attached his height mods plugins... I had a hard time tracking it down, so I just bookmarked it. It is also included in this download. For what it's worth...

thanks for the links guys, I actually ended up using the Terraformer to raise the whole region. But thanks for the plugins, I'll save them for other projects I make,
