That last bit of extra ambulance funding does not increase the circle of coverage.

Does it do something to add that funding, or is the maximum coverage where he circle stops increasing?

Yes, the circle doesn't get bigger as it does with schools, police and fire departments.

But if must be on purpose so I wonder if that last 20-or-so-% does give a health boost for example.

I remember seeing a thread where someone experimented with it. Their experiment found that the outer area of the circle without the extra 20% had a lower medical care rating than when that 20% was in place. Take that as you will.

I always just fund them as high as I can, but if they start striking(over usage.) I will dramatically reduce ambulance funding to reduce usage.(Hey, ts better to have an effective hospital over a small area than to have one that hardly helps over a larger area.) i find that increasing it above 100% increases the area a little, but not by much. your eyes may alao be tricking you a little, because as you increase the actual area of the circle, the diameter increase falls for the same increase of area,so it may be getting larger than you would think, if only those last few neighborhood corner lots had coverage! a whole new hospital is needed then 15.gif.

I hope that this helps you. -blakesterville.

For such a small amount between where the circle stops increasing, and where maximum funding is, it's just safer to fund all the way. Unless your waayyy in debt.

It would only make sense that increasing ambulance funding increases the effictivness of hospitals because ambulances get to people faster (not that you see it). But i never cared about ambulance funding anyways......
