NAM issues

 i just downloaded the newly posted NAM, im sure i deleted the old one, my MAC seems to crash more often now, usually in less then five minutes. i read that hovering rail and roads around over streets may cause this. also i downloaded the cleanitol file, but im not sure how to use it. or where do i install it. can you help

What NAM did you download?

What exact files did you download?

What did you install from the NAM?

There is an update for the old NAM, you may have downloaded that, also there is an essentials file that you need to download, you might not have that. Or you could have installed it wrong.

If you can answer those questions for me, then that should give me enough information to help you fix your problem.

With the cleanitol files, there is currently no program for macs that allows you to do this, although I am trying to get my version out to the public as quickly as possible.

i downloaded the June 09 NAM for Mac. i just downloaded that whole file. i didnt put in the esstionals because i read that it wasnt needed if you have the New NAM. when i see the new nam file in my game play it shows a folder but nothing happens i think it says March NAM. i hope this is useful.

I am yet to download the june version. I am currently running the march version of the NAM and i now have an overload of pedestrians, but virtually nobody is using their cars. How do i fix this?

i cant find the March version, it says you need it where is it?

The March NAM is no longer available, and is no longer supported.  The "Update" exists merely so that people who already have the March NAM can update everything to the June setup without having to download the entire NAM again.  If you don't have the March NAM, you need to download the June NAM.

I'm still not entirely sure what you mean about "seeing the NAM file in game play" . . . are you referring to the folder structure?

I'd recommend you pull all of your Plugins out besides the NAM and check to see that things are working there, and then slowly add things back in.  There's likely a conflicting plugin somewhere.

You're running a "Park and Ride" version of one of the NAM Plugins.  The file will be marked as "NetworkAddonMod_Traffic_Plugin_AP" (or whatever letter plugin you're using, followed by "P").  Those plugins do not allow cars to directly reach their destinations and require parking lots--and without the parking lots, they'll walk everywhere.  Either build parking lots, or select a different traffic plugin that isn't Park & Ride.

wow lol thanks ok i have the june nam well about nam during game play, for example nothing exist in canal folder or in a "march 09 nam" that exist in the highway tab. even though i dont have anything installed with march 09. this is very new to me i do have june 09 nam and essentials installed. i think a january one too, do i need to delete that one? i have read the read me files but its like im reading backwards please detail me step by step lol if you want or have the time
