Friverton claim a win to move up a spot in CentralEast while Cortezlynn City just can't claw their way up from the bottom of the Southwest.

East Kingston tops an injury-riddle Ilitj squad, climbing over the Rude Bruins in the standings. Ilitj is at a turning point; a few wins could get them right in the thick of things again, another loss or two and they'll be left behind.

 

 

 

 

 

Royal Port posts a win over June Isle, who did their part on offense but just couldn't keep the puck out of their net. The Sharks cling desperately to the top of the league but they've got company, and the pack isn't far behind.

Injury Report: Royal Port's Stuart out 3 weeks with whiplash.

 

 

 

 

 

The Cristobal Bears make this one closer than Trimblelina City would have liked, but the Victory come out on top. Still, the overtime loss point for Cristobal leaves both teams tied for last in their division. Sounds bad, but it's one of two divisions where just four or less points separate the top from the bottom.

 

 

 

 

 

Amiton keep Buffalo out of the tie for the top of the league while keeping themselves close in their division.

Injury Report: Buffalo's Primeau should return soon after recovering from an injury. 

 

 

 

 

 

Rude post another loss, but make this one closer than many - including Hersonburg - would have believed. Hersonburg remain a point off the top of the league while Rude sit at the bottom of their division and must lauch a rally in the standings soon to have any hopes of a post-season. But remember, most teams still have a dozen or so games left, so a lot can change.

The All-Star Game ( ASG ) is fast approaching.  I mean, like . . . . . our next update.  I've been away for a bit, and just now realized that we're about halfway through the season, which is All-Star time.

If you'd like your team & arena to host the ASG, PM me IMMEDIATELY with 2-3 reasons why you should host the ASG.

 

I will deliberate with mentarman, and we will announce our decision and feature it as a second part of the Day 54 update.

All but one team in the Southeast played tonight, but it did little to clear up the race for the playoffs in the division. In fact, it's closer than ever with Black Lemon topping Strawberry City in a close game.

Injury Report: Black Lemon's Clymer should return soon after recovering from an injury. 

Injury Report: Strawberry City's Warrener out 2 weeks with a shattered right heel.

 

 

 

 

 

Pern City edges out Saturna in another close game, but doesn't gain in the standings because the official league recordkeep had, er, ahem, apparently already awarded it some points mistakenly at some point. Ahem. Whoops. Hopefully everything's back in order.

Another Southeast team, Dynasty, can't pull of a win but the point for the draw is enough to keep them in the three-way tie at the top of the division, not the two-way tie for the bottom. The Sutherland Stars, one of the few Western Conference teams to play tonight, use their point to enter the tie for the top of the league, which has stagnated at 24 points.

 

 

 

 

 

Redmont pull off an upset that keeps Arcadia from making a push in the tight CentralEast.

 

 

 

 

 

The other Western Conference team playing tonight, Arcadian, get blasted by the Rockets, another Southeast team striving in that close division. Arcadian leave the door wide open for Devonshire and St. Charles, both of which play tomorrow against beatable teams.

As my NHL counterpart Sabres beat the Islanders, 6-4 last night - I'd like to move that the SHL's Sabres recieve an extra two points in the standings for scoring the most goals on opening night last night.  ( AFAIK - the Sabres scored the most goals, w/ 6. )
