Great, I've added you two to the logo post above. Thanks for joining and welcome aboard. Traffic-jam there's one issue with your team that I sent you a PM about, let me know an answer when you get a chance.

AJHAINC, I did a little doctoring and removed the Dallas part from your logo... I'd love to get to 30 but if that doesn't happen, we'll start with some dummy teams and people who want to join later can take them over.
I appreciate you adding the logo and link to your post. I don't want anyone to miss out because they don't come to Off-topic, and that will help. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free (it looks like Rude Boy did it too, so thanks also to him.)

EDIT: Spiritus, just saw you and I'll get you added to the logo post and signed up as well. I'm glad you like the idea. That brings us to 18! Woohoo! I'm glad there's interest so far, now I just have to live up to my end.

21 is sort of an eagle or bird of some type looking directly at you. It's hard to picture. I'll post a better version when I get home. 27 and 41 are other birds that are available as well and easier to see as logos.

Mentarman, this is all looking so great, i love this idea, any thoughts about hosting the Hockey World Cup in any of those cities?, we could have an election (a poll) people would have to submit pics of their city and then you would decide which ones can became candidates, then it would be down to indivudual people to vote for which city they want. A bit like the olympic committe.

Welcome aboard, new folks. I'll get you guys up and running with logos when I get home. Mrkeacher88 can you clarify if you want to have the Lexmark Monarchs or the New Kingston Monarchs?

Jerebannus XVI, that's a great suggestion and I already have an idea of how to implement it. I want to do it with a version of our teams instead of the World Cup of Hockey, and I think we'll do the finals like the NHL does, but I think that we could have a contest and the city could host an All-Star Game. How does that sound?

 

Traffic_Jam, I think we actually only need 7 more players, because gurrgkud showed some interest earlier, asking about a logo, but hasn't replied again yet. So we're almost underway.

Welcome, padraig. Hopefully I won't get your Arcadian mixed up with the Arcadia already signed up! I'll get your logo going for you later tonight.

 

AJHAINC, and everybody else, like it or not, things will be done the NHL way, because I'm going to sim an NHL season (but with our teams substituted.) I will be doing the shortest season possible in the game (which is still like 40 games per team I think), since I don't want to be running this same season into the next decade (hopefully I will run future seasons though if people enjoy this), but there will be 2 conferences, each with 3 divisions of 5 teams. I was going to post about this later, but might as well put it out there now. Our conferences can just be East and West, but we need to make up names for the 6 divisions. So suggest away if you have any ideas. Or they can just be Northwest, Central West and Southwest, Northeast, Central East and Southeast.

 

I haven't figured out if the game will select All-Star teams for me automatically or if we/I will have to come up with a method for making those teams. But suffice to say we will have a best-of-the-East vs. best-of-the-West All-Star Game part way through the season, hosted by the city that wins whatever contest we end up setting up for it. Looks like Arcadian already has its entry.

 

So there's only 6 or 7 more slots, depending on if gurrgkud is in or not.

*It should be noted that Arcadian hockey fans are all from Boston, Long Island and Jersey. Because of this the fans are very colourfull in a Loud, Rude and Rowdy way. The Arcadian team will surely be the Riff-Raff team representin the riff-raff nation. Fights will be common on the ice and in the seats. Also the Arena is smoker friendly allowing all visitors to smoke whatever they wish.
