If you are having problems with the p2p downloaded, make sure you run it with administrator privileges so it can write to the program files directory on you C: drive. I cant believe it took me so long to figure this out!

don't waste your money on that crap, goto beta.citiesxl.com/download and choose the p2p downloader, its the fastest and its free. Took me about 30-35 minutes to download

I can give you a clue... though unofficial. I got mine after looking through several topics (I bet about fifty to a hundred) after that my "codeword" popped up at the bottom of the screen. I am guessing every hundred, 200, 500, 1000 topic read throughs lies another code. Just a thought though... May not be worth the time... but the bottom of the page is a start (or the top, left and right )
