I agree with 6underground about the lighting - it does look a little too bright at the moment - but lighting is always a trade-off between looking realistic at z5 and being visible at lower zooms, so it depends what you want.

If you are going to leave the office unlit at night it might be nice to add a couple of security lights on the outside.

Looks great but I think you should put a prop of some kind on the platform so it blocks of the light that is reflected on the railing, since it stands out. then do some spot's so the balcony is dimly illuminated.

Lighting is looking so much better now, well done!! Seeing as you can't add any more props because GMAX is being a Gypo on your computers capability (ive had that myself), perhaps you could light up one or two of those trains, as though they are waiting for passengers to disemabark, or ready to terminated i don't think it would be too hard too do, just put on a simple rectangle to the size of the winows with a height of like 0.01, texture it like a train window and nitelite 0.7, should look even more superb, but as it is. looks incredible. :-D

    I rendered York Road but it may need re rendering 14.gif
    londonwall28mi.jpg
    London Wall with some roof textures, next up is nightligting ( 32.gif )

    2 things on York Road:
    -i'll probably let the lights leak onto the front balcony, after all its sort of realistic isnt it 34.gif
    -I will probably have to get rid of the rails and do them in LE, they were proving to be a pain when rendered

    Very nice but what about a median on the road to protect cars from the supports.

    What style is the Boston City Hall build in ? Well not my style, but the bat looks good.

    How is the render of the train-station going ? Started ?
    if not, add some light to a few windows, (as if some one is working late).

    FF, you really do torment us poor soles sometimes, showing us wobnderful BAT creation, which we may never get to use. A real Torment I tell thee.

    By the way the Boston Town hall looks great so far.

    Very nice work, Frogface! I really like the trainstation at the top of the page and those electricity bars (I have no idea what they're really called) look amazing.. We have those in Holland too and somehow the Simcity rails look strange without them, since all trains run on electricity here.. Good work!

    How will the rail electrification fit in with your pre-existing railway BATs, any problems?

    Sorry i've been away from batting for a while. But im just quickly updating this thread with a couple of things im planning to release soon.
    The electrified railways will be released soon now ive finished the diagonal pieces, I just need to sort out a few things before release 2.gif Two versions will be released.
    -2 track electrification
    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/OHLE11.jpg align=baseline>
    -4track electrification
    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/OHLE2.jpg align=baseline>
    -filler lots

    New styles are a possibility. 2.gif
    while lots are probably not the most streamlined method for this so far it seems the only way 41.gif so sadly bridges and stations will be unelectrified. Wires too are not possible because of gradients 8.gif

    Also the sprinter mod

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/OHLE3.jpg align=baseline>
    (credit to goaskin for the actual modding) the plan is to release this version first but then i'm planning to redo it in various real life livieries this train sees in the UK. 2.gif
    These replace the track checker so they can co-exist with normal trains so you get two kinds of service.
    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/train12.jpg align=baseline>
    and finally both 2.gif

    N/P Froggie! When you need a break, you need a break. Real life and maintaining low levels of frustration come first and foremost!

    I was waiting for someone to add overhead electric wires (or OCS-Overhead Cantenary System). Light rail really isn't light rail without it!

    And Boston City Hall looks awesome! I don't like brutalism, but you have done a great job on this and past projects recreating it! It is a great recreation.

    I also must thank you for the awesome rail and bus stations you have released in the past. They really make unique and creative transit systems possible!
