VDK GLR Tram Mod (Vester)

Are there dependencies for this Mod; because whenever I install it, all I get are mulricoloured tram shapes

I use that Mod (it's awesome), but I don't recall any dependancies.

You need to install one tram as the replacement for the original engine, then you can install as many "extras" as you want. Did you do that?

I'm not really sure... But anyway, I changed to a very similar one for El Rail. It's sweeeeet....

No dependencies, but you have to run the game in hardware rendering mode for the skins to show properly.

FYI - that's the version2, it has multiple cars so you can only install one tram style

If you want a variety of different trams to show up on your GLR, look for the first version - it 's single trams, so you can install one Primary Engine, and then as many extra styles as you like.

Also, once you have it installed, you can remove the Primary Engine file and replace it with any single tram you download from The Stex. So for example, I'm playing a Memphis map, so i downloaded a Memphis tram. I put that in the folder to be the Primary Engine (replaces the Maxis GLR), in addition to all the extra VDK Trams (Secondary Engines).

So now I have a Memphis tram, and about a half  dozen Euro-style trams cruising through my city.

Can you tell me how to reskin trams? I got an awesome Chicago Transit Authourity elevated train, and I'd like to use it as my GLR train.

Also, if anyone could find me a GLR to subway or GLR to elevated, it would be greatly appreiciated!

I have a problem with the VDK. I tried to get rid of the vol 3 but its still there. Ive reinstalled and deleted the file a million times and still nothing happens. Any suggustions?

The installer file is a bit odd, imho. Here is what I do: I install the files to my desktop. In My Documents, I have 2 folders: Simcity 4 (which has the Plugins folder) and SC4 (for back-up stuff). I shuffle unused skins in SC4 folder and I put ONE of VDK skins into my Current Tram Skin folder in the Plugins folder in the Simcity 4 folder. Did you follow that? It has helped me keep my trams looking sweet.

Yea I try to be organized but I must have did something stupid and now its stuck. Long story short, I got a new computer. I transfered all the SC4 files from the old one to the new where the problem was already happening. I resolved it on my other computer but not on my new one.
