Your largest city file size

No, not the largest city popluation..  I'm wondering how large of a file is your largest city?  I currently have a 800,000 population city with about 42 MB on my hard drive.  Funny how the size exploded from 8MB to almost 21MB right after i installed Simulator Z.

have one city that has a file size of 253 mb. it has a population of just over 4million on a large city tile.

 

since simcity 4 and then rush hour first came out i've saved and worked on it on and off. have stopped and restarted playing simcity 3 times and through 4 computers over the years but have always saved the game files.

The largest file size I can find in my map is:

City 1 - 3484 kb, population about 100000 people.

253MB? wow! what a file!

my largest was a city of about 400,000(I don't have the city anymore) that was about 35MB. The city was entirely unmoded , though.

I remember the times when you could create a city of a million in simcity 3000 , even with the city file being 600kb!

has anyone proved that simulator z increases city file sizes? I will probably be quick to uninstall it if thats so.

Herdervriend: try the cheat code(ctrl+x) "whererufrum" (or something like that , I think I have it correct , though)to change the city name , just place the new name after the cheat code. If its more than one word , just place the new name in quotes.
