sounds like you inadvertenly installed one of the "park and ride" versions of whichever traffic simulator you chose during the inital installation of NAM. make sure there is not a P in the name of the traffic simulator file you chose during installation of NAM "The “Park and Ride Mod” is a mod that will make it so that cars cannot reach their destination. So, what this forces you to do is place parking lots near transit systems, or in you CBD so that Sims can park and then walk or ride the rest of the way to work. These are the Simulators named with a P after the Simulator Type like so: NAM_Traffic_Plugin_AP_Easy"

Peg's container seaport replaces the default maxis seaport. "The CDK3-SP Container Seaport is a functional seaport that directly replaces the game's default seaport. This is the first and core piece of a series of CDK3 Seaport (CDK3-SP) modular lots that will allow you to build & expand your seaport area, both functionally & visually, to almost any size and the way you want it to be. An associated, functional Container Freight Rail Yard is also under development." --- from the readme. if you want the default seaport back, make sure you have taken the file PEG-CDK3_10x5_Container Port_110.dat out of your plugins folder. it should be in a subfolder within a folder called 'ZZZZ_PEG SEAPORTS' in your plugins folder,

My power plant funding keeps lowering by itself!
psob2 replied to trar's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Hi, I had the same problem. It drove me nuts also. Never was able to figure out what caused it. Was able to stop it by setting up temporary neighbor deals for power Here’s what I did as a workaround to get the sliders to stay where I put them 1)Open the city with the power slider problem. Pause game. Go to the main slider for power in the budget section and set it to the default setting, I guess at about 90%. Don’t mess with the Main Slider in the budget section again, that seems to set the whole power slider thing off again. Go to each power plant and set them where you want them. Unpause and let the game start at slowest speed for just a second. Pause again before the power sliders drop again. Save city and go to region view. 2)Go to neighbor city of the one with slider problem. Pause. Build extra power plants, at least as many as were in the original city with the problem. Make sure that the new power plants were connected to the power grid. Maxed each power plant individually. Drag utility poles to create power neighbor connection with the original city. Run game at slowest speed for just a second to let new power plants register. Pause. Saved city and go to region view. 3)Reopen problem city, make sure its paused. Find this side of the power neighbor connection that you just made and connect it to the city’s power grid. Run at slowest speed for just a second. Pause. Go to budget screen and make neighbor deal for the most power you can with the neighbor city where you built the extra power plants. This part can be a pain, sometimes you can’t initiate the power deal, and you need to save, then go back to the other city where you built the extra plants and do the neighbor deal from there. Then pause and save. 4)When you have a neighbor deal for power set up with the problem city receiving a lot of extra power, you should be able to run it at highest speed and query an individual power plant and see the slider will not drop. Do Not mess with the main slider in budget, that seems to trigger the slider problem. Query any individual power plants in the city and verify that the slider isn’t dropping. When you know you’ve run the game at high speed longer than the slider problem would start to happen, for me it was only a minute or two at highest speed, then pause and save. Save and go to region view. 5)When you go back to the problem city the sliders should be stable. Verify by querying individual power plants. If the sliders are stable you should be able to break the power neighbor connection on this side and the power plants ought to be stable still. You ought to be able to play normally now except for one thing. From this point do not touch the main slider in budget. Just the individual sliders you can get to by querying the power plants. I realize this sounds a little nuts, but it is how I was able to save my cities when my power sliders went wacko. Think that whatever happened corrupted something in the save file, because taking everything out of plugins didn't fix it. this stupid workaround seemed to at least uncorrupt the save so that the city is still playable. Not all the cities in my region had the problem. Since it started though, in all my cities, I never touch the power slider in budget, just the individual power plant’s sliders. I have a lot of custom content and was never able to figure out what might have caused it. Hope this helps edit: for grammar and forgot something -
