Trying to find a mod

I heard there's a mod that prevents dilapidated buildings to look like it, so I was wondering the name of it as I cannot seem to find it.

I wouldn't want to use a mod that completely prevents dilapidation; just for prevent them from looking run-down and ugly.

Hi, Kazmir,

Welcome to Simtropolis.  There is a modd that prevents abandonment and dilapidation, it can be found here.  In reading the description, I believe it actually does prevent abandonment for a period of time.  I was under the impression it just blocked the blackened textures before I read it again.  It has several different options, and only one can be installed.  Another helpful modd is the Less Abandonment Modd, which is designed to cut back R$$$ from growing where desireability will make them later tend to abandon.  If R$$$ is your problem, it might help.  If you 're interested, some of the common causes of dilapidation that we've pinpointed in other cities are lack of enough R$ to stabilize demand, and avenues that allow sims to drive out of town without a cross street/road for a turn around point.  Please let me know if you have further questions.

I guess I'll try out the 'Less Abandonment' -mod. The other one seems like a cheat to me.

And thank you for the help, I know what causes dilapidation, but as I usually build for the aestethics and looks rather than practicality (if you get what I mean), I wanted to find a mod that removes the run-down looking houses.

However, Iguess the Less Abandonment mod is even better than what I had in mind.
