new to BAT

hi,

 

I'm new to the BAT. When I want to start the BAT, a window opens and says:

 

Interactive 3D Renderer Initialization failed.

Please check your device stettings by using the -H command line option.

 

BAT also doesn't appear in the Utilities-Tab of the Command-Tool in gmax.

 

So please help me friends. What must I do to make the BAT run?

First off this belongs in the BAT Workshop Forum not the open discussions. Now as I can tell you are running GMax alone. I suppose you're a registered member of Simcity.com so go in there under 'Cool Stuff' to 'Tools' and from there to 'Building Architect Tool (BAT)' over there you should have all the needed downloads including the BAT night update and LE. If you're not registered so then you've got a problem

Do what superstar said; if you are a registered user you need to download the BAT and install it so you can run that instead of GMAX alone. Also, you may have a direct X issue, are you current on your Direct X? That's just a possibility, I have had similar errors like that and updating Direct X solved the problem. Hope that helps!

Of course I am a registered member of simcity.com. And I have downloaded all the tools which can be found on the B.A.T.-page. I have also installed the most recent version of directx. But it doesn't work. When I start B.A.T. it still says:

Interactive 3D renderer initialization failed.
