Losing Population

I am constantly losing population. How can i gain it back.

give them an education, good hospitals, plenty of jobs, adequate transportation and move dirty industry out of your city.... that should bring it up a bit.

You are probably loosing population for several reasons: over pollution, too little schools/ funding for schools, too little hospitals/ funding for healthcare, too little police care and funding, and the same for fire protection. Also, perhaps try to beef up your commercial districts, to provide jobs for your sims. If the commercial demand is too low, then lower taxes for commercial services and offices to encourage growth. Keep them nearby your residential areas, and make sure they are linked well. This should help a bit. Oh, and water your sims.

check commute time? sometimes commute time can cause these problems , actually , its my primary cause of population loss...

try to work with your transportation , and commute times(new job providing zones?)
