Airports in Cities XL?

Well I recently read Dirk's review of Cities XL and I have to say I am impressed. However as I was reading his

bit about transportation I noticed, what about airports? Now I could be potentially be speaking for members

of the aviation community (and I know you're out there) but what about the average joe? Whats everyones

feedback on airports? Will they be like Maxis airports, or like ACE and Voltares packs? Lets see...

At the official Cities XL website, there's a blog about transport simulation, and it does mention air travel plus there is a picture of their A380 mode. As for the airport itself, it has been said that of course there will be airports, but what I'm concerned about is the size, if it will be at a realistic scale or not. I so want MC to get this correct for once, but they won't release any screens. But, hopefully they will be sensible and correctly scale the airport, even though the maps are 10km by 10km, but according to Dirk, you do have other map options and you can connect up your maps.

I really wish they would go for an airport GEM, that would be awesome because we could plan out airports and manage their flights, just like the ski resort GEM that they showed us.

We did talk about the possibility for an airport GEM, personally, I think there's a pretty good chance one will come out...

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Aerobiz Supersonic, and airport/airline simulators.  I would love this to be a GEM so I can build and manage my own airport.

I'm pretty sure there will be airports in CXL, hopefully they'll be like the modular packs released here

I'm also looking forward to the airport GEM, it could be like Airport Tycoon/ or Airline Tycoon(also made by a much older MC)

It would be great if airports were zonable like in SC3K and SimCity 2000, I actually miss those, same thing with seaports!
