GLR bug?

I have a few questions about the GLR in the last NAM update (January).

I never really thought of using it before I downloaded the january editions, and ran into a few problems. First of all, the NAM doesn't seem to contain any GLR-stops. Is that so, or am I doing something wrong?

The real case: When I started building the GLR, after some time of construction, the SC4-program just shut down. It happens all over each time I try, so I've basically just given it up. Why could this be? I downloaded a few custom tramstations from the stex, (prague tram station I believe) prior to the January release of NAM, because NAM didn't seem to include any. Could this be the problem? Have anyone experienced anything like this?

Thanks!

The NAM does not come with any stations. There are sets available if you search the STEX. Here's a few: T-Ram Stations, RTMT, SFBT GLR Mod.

Try to note what you're doing when the crashes occur. The game crashing you are experiencing may be due to the fact that you can't touch some NAM pieces to trasnit-enabled lots. This is something within the game itself and cannot currently be fixed. Care should be taken when using the pieces.

Hope this helps...

Transit enabled lots? Refresh my memory... Like roads? My initial thought was that it ocurred in combination with me using the custom GLR-stations, perhaps because these stations don't go well with the latest NAM. Is that far fetched?

    Thanks

When you place the tracks, leave gaps for the stations. Placing the peices over the stations causes the game to crash.

Yes, it's probably about the NAM, as you've been told; also, it happens to me often. The best thing you can do is to save your game before modifying your GLR network and placing the pieces very carefully.

Transit-enabled (TE) lots are any lots (items that are plopped) that have been designed to allow traffic to enter or pass through (such as stations). Roads. streets, and such are not lots, so having a NAM piece pass over them won't cause the crashing. But pieces coming in contact with TE lots while selected by the cursor could cause it. That is why it is suggested to lay out as much as possible with the pieces and then plop the stations. TE lots (stations) coming in contact with pieces won't cause the crashes.
