By the way, Cougar, the CAM (another BSC production) is the Colossus Addon Mod. It increases SimCity's number of growth stages which allows for a more realistic development of buildings. It's also SC4D-exclusive, but it's not in any way related to the NAM.

The other big acronym is the Canal Addon Mod (CAN-AM), which creates functioning canals using pieces from a set made by simgoober.

What were you looking to download... the RTMT? It's here... NAMHere... If something else, let us know...

I noticed you just linked the NAM June 2009 there, which I dont have yet. Since I still have what we discussed earlier in this thread.  But I have been hearing horror stories of problems with the June 2009 NAM.  Have you?  Do you think its wise to wait for a patch or the next version to avoid game problems?

No, I haven't heard anything except reports of a few 'bugs' with it, but there usually are with every new release. There were a couple new things (Canals, Tram-in-Street, and Street Curves) and several puzzle pieces added, and there's always a learning curve for newer things. The good news is that there is an update available now to fix those bugs. I'm not sure if it's up on the STEX yet, but it is on the LEX. Actually, since you don't have the June version yet, you wouldn't want the update, but the updated full version.

June 2009 NAM  -  This has been updated with the bug fixes

June 2009 NAM Update  -  This is the Update if you all ready had the June 2009 version installed.

As far as things go on the STEX, there's June 2009 NAM  being offered with the separate July 2009 Update.  If anyone has the June 2009 NAM already, I'd recommend just picking up the July update--you can just install it right over top, generally.  Otherwise, I'd recommend picking up the full July one at SC4D.

    Thanks Alex,

Just to clarify... As far as the STEX is concerned, the June 2009 version 'unfixed' version, so the July 2009 Update would also have to be installed to fix things. In other words, to be fully up-to-date, both files would be needed... correct?

Got it!  Its safe to use as of today.  And I dont need the update for my personally, since I never downloaded the June first revision of the NAM, so that first link above is all I need.  Thanks for helping clear it up.  I always appreciate you on these forums.

And thanks for Tarkus too, for also clarifying.  When 2 very respectable forum members confirm something like this, I know I can trust it.

True enough... A few things mentioned have been replaced by newer versions, and rather than edit all the posts, this one will be closed.
