Hey there guys, well after playing SimCity4 for a while ive been looking into some cool sutom content and reading up on various CJs. ONe that caught my eye was Illinois Flint. I reaaly like his suburban type feel with the kinda high density trees and diferent type of trees aswell. I want my areas to look like that msot importantly I want my growable lots to have trees in them especially for Residential areas, something Maxis Res areas dont have.

If I can get any cool links to some of thos mods please post them here as I woul love to have some

Thank you,

          Tomsy

Hi, Tomsy,

Welcome to Simtopolis.  Trees do add a great deal to a city, in RL especially.  There are some beautiful tree models to be had to replace the Maxis trees.  The ones in green and pleasant Flint are mainly by cycledogg and are available in various forms.  Andreas' Street Tree Mod also uses those trees, as well as some others, and you can choose which as you install.  There is another street tree mod available on SC4Devotion LEX, by jeronij.  Another Andreas Tree Mod, also on SC4D LEX, replaces all Maxis trees on lots with cycledogg's.  You will need to register for the LEX, and for questions/support, for SC4D.  For even more variety, just search "trees" on the STEX.

Have fun.

I would also highly suggest C.P.'s 19th century houses and 19th century tenements. Both can be found on the LEX on SC4Devotion. (The LEX's Power Search now enables you to search alphabetically by Creator/Designer, so find them under "c.p.")

Like Livin' in Sim said, you'll need to register. And both require several dependencies. However, there is a large variety of houses in both files, they are slope conforming, and all have a beautiful array of trees that change with the seasons. And the dependencies are widely used, so they're worth the time to download.
