Demand problems

I've got a problem with demand. I simply have too much demand for CS:

I don't know how to get rid of all the demand for it. I've built cities full of CS, and I haven't made a blip in demand.

If you want rid of the demand just tax them more...Bonus = more money.

Really? Whole cities? I don't know what to tell ya. Maybe you need even more! You an always tax em like Randomtaskk said. But that just moves demand to another city and makes it even worse for another part of the region. It may be because you put it on easy mode? That always makes demand ridiculous for me.

It all depends on how big your population is and how long it has been since you zoned for CS. I honestly think that the residents demand way too much CS and not enough CO, but of course that's because I like the tall buildings . How many cities have you filled with CS? I usually fill approximately two medium sized tiles of all CS with a medium sized tile filled with mostly high density residential, which can get up to almost a million people.

Didn't realize demand moves from one city to another. Fix one and a neighboring city has to take up any slack? Wow. Still learning.

How best to keep things even throughout?
