NAM rail problems

Hi,

I just downloaded the new January NAM, which is amazing btw, and have noticed a problem with my rail. The textures are abit strange and have different shades depending on which way the rail is going. ON diagionals the railway is dark, and on straught sections the railway is light. And all intersections are light as well. This is really irritating and would love to know how to solve with brightness problem.

Your issue is probably due to the fact that the some texture modification was done in the new NAM's to match some of the newer rail pieces that were included. You can use the SFBT Rail Texture mod (as De Ja Vu mentioned) or you can try out the Dual Rail Texture mod to get a closer match. There's a link at the end of Dedgren's post. It's a beta at this time. The SFBT mod will be pretty close, and it's being updated also. Hope this helps...
