Those were not legal in the past is what was implied.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

I have been growing a mustache for quite a while and it takes forever for it to look semi-decent though I am not certain on how to keep it looking nice now that my upper lip hair is sufficiently long.

If it is long enough, go have it trimmed once by a barber and ask him to coach you on maintenance.

I prefer a guy with a hairless face.

Where I come from, those are called "women".

The region I live in is stereo-typically inhabited by bushmen who always have beards, and wear flannel. They sleep all night, and work all day. On Wednesdays, they go shopping.

So they're either hipsters (well, the mere fact that the bushmen are actually working makes this very, very unlikely :P) or lumberjacks.

Aaaaannnd... cue:

We have lumberjacks up here too. It's the same forest, just a different location.

Why on Wednesdays?

Beards must not large, short is more secure; and It must feel like sandpaper, not like cotton . I think is the best way for a beard.

I don't know why they go shopping on Wednesday. Ask Michael Palin.

Tuesday is my shopping day, and I have a beard. Thing is, I am not a lumberjack nor at the Lakehead.

I have a beard, live at the Lakehead, and go shopping on Wednesday. But I'm not a transvestite.

Beards tend to be scratchy. I'm not a fan.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

That's the point of the beards!

An article about why Nathan Drake would make a fantastic homosexual. The article brings up a valid point about how we perhaps could do with a few more LGBT characters in video games, not counting Bioware nor Bethesda (they don't count :P).

Thoughts?

My beard is pretty soft. It's more coarse than the hair on my head but it's not sandpaper.

If Nathan Drake was gay, I'd do him. Just saying.

In order for a beard to be coarse it has to be kept relatively short. Let it grow too much and it starts to get soft.

I'd say mine is kinda in between. It isn't like sandpaper, but it isn't like cotton, either. It's... bushy. But also kinda curly and wispy (my facial hair does not grow straight, although the hair on top of my head does).

The amusing thing is I seem to have set a mini-trend. After I went from goatee to full beard, my manager decided to start growing a beard. And now the other two engineers in my office are at it as well!

You are all going to hell, and Satan will dine on your bodies for eternity. And every time you kiss someone of the same gender, a baby dies and a unicorn commits suicide!

Yes, that's how stupid those arguments are. Love you all.

I forgot to mention: so would I.

I mean, the guys who did Uncharted put a LOT of effort into the wet shirt effects, so it's like they're trying to tell us something... :P

I care about the babies, but not of the unicorns.

Chicah: where are you from? Because I heard that kind of comments, but I live in a conservative society. And how Satan will dine our bodies for the eternity? Because that inflict the law of conservative of matter.

About the character of Uncharted, well... it have its charm... but, I preffer real people, sorry. It's like if I pay attention to Neil Fairbanks, its virtual. Altough I admit I've played Resident Evil with a friend just for see Jill Valentine

Back to the reality, is this thread going outside of its original point?

Well, taking the example of Prometheus, I would guess our bodies regenerate so they can be feasted on again. As for how that works, well... you're seriously expecting logic from religion? :P

From the rules of the thread (first post):

"The closet is a place for GLBT, questioning, and straight people to come, discuss their problems, chat about clothes, men, women, etc. and not be negative about each other. It is a place for everyone to chill, show some pics, have fun, and tell a joke or two."

We're well within the point of the thread.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

Twilight Sparkle, she?

Not bad. Funny video.

And yes, I expect a little of logic from religion.

Ok, if the thread is in the correct way, perfect. Let's still talking about Nathan Drake.
