I've never been to Boise . . . would like to, though. I'm a big desert guy. Roadtrip one of these days, methinks. -Alex

Counties don't have capitals.  They have county seats.

but, hey, why exclude them from this discussion?

county seats are fair game too

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

the county seat of Prince George's county Maryland is Upper Marloboro.  Old tobacco town.

it used to be, anyway.  These days, only the Amish grow tobacco in Maryland.

If a thread grows by 300 post in 1.5 hours, is it considered to be nuclear-powered?

The Susquehanna River flows through Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania. The Susquehanna empties into the Chesapeake Bay right near Interstate 95, which runs through 4 state capitals(Augusta, Boston, Providence, and Richmond)

The county seat of Washtenaw County in Michigan is Ann Arbor, home of the University of Michigan.

not to be confused with Ypsilanti, Michigan

Home of Eastern Michigan University, a few miles east of Ann Arbor

About 50 miles east of ann arbor along I-94, you have Detroit, the county seat of Wayne County, MI

take a drive down I-75 about 30 miles and you've reached Monroe, Mi, the county seat of Monroe County.

Go further another 20 miles and your in Toledo, the county seat of Lucas County Ohio!
