alkaola, you should take a region picture with the Region Census, so I can see the side that touches my region, and all the other borders.

To make a big City just use several cities and make one Big one out of them just like the picture below shows. Medium maps are a lot easier to make thinks grow and control everything, plus it is easy on the computer and even when filled no slag is a problem, unless you have a too small computer or to fully chraged with other stuff.
...And yes, you are allowed to terraform, as long as you leave the borders on all three sides in tact. I did create 9 rivers and 11 lakes, plus one little mountain chain and a volcano, but still it has the same borders and looks more or less the same.

I will be contacting you soon to make a highway and a rail connection to your Nation. Keep it up!

Nice map alka......looks good enough to me

-25 C in the Kalund and Alkasson mountains(northern Norland) sounds fair, although here where I actually live we see these temps everyday in Jan and Feb (and even much colder), but in the Mediterranian area , it must be quite rare, even in the mountains.....am I wrong?

Just a thought, but it doesn't really matter since Norlanders can handle it very easily.

sloppet : where do i register ?  and yes you're in hurricane area

Mrbisonm : thanks for the compliment about the maps m8 , and i think its cool that in your country temps can go down below -25 ~!!

but well the mountains on the borders of spain/france  (pyranees) have snow on it in winter and it can be very cold there....
and i wanted to make a pretty big temperature change you know then theres some action in weather when i'm making forecasts for our cities hehe

but i can change it easily to a less cold niveau in winter just tell me

thanks 1.gif

petriknl: I did my connections to Arcazzio as I showed on the earlier page. I did nopt get a confirmation, if that is ok though.

alkaola, here is a picture of Norland with the Capitol *Pehl*,where I would like to make a connection to Katrinabat. It is on the second county from the top on my right/on your left of the regionmap. Being close to my capitol City, this could be an important doorway to the other world.
Tell me if that suits you also, I will then send you the detailed map. Both a groundhighway and rail will be in this county. More connections could be done later when the CJ starts.

A tip to make a better region pic with the Region Census: Once the region is opened, open file and then save the map as, no matter where, and you will get a picture without the Census frame. You might have to reduce the picture with irfanview or any other paint prog.

Btw, the temps for my region Norland are just fine, leave them like this.2.gif

Alkaola: Here is the second from above on your side county called Loomis, where we will make our connections. Loomis is just outside of Sephra *Pehl*, the Capitol of Norland, with a 187,000 population.
A very modern City with advanced technology and surrounded by productive Farmland and very immense and dense forests. Good enough for exportation or trading.

<ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//NorlandNordest.JPG align=baseline>

The second county from above and on gridtiles counting from 1 on the bottom (south and on the left in the picture) and up to the top (north and which is right on the picture)
Grid tile # 11 (eleven is the rail connection, grid tile # 13 and 14 are the ground-highway connection and grid tile # 27 is for the road connection.

Are you sure you meant me mrbisonm?
Our nations are at opposite ends, so i don't think you meant to make a connection with me. 41.gif

Sorry peng74, I kinda got mixed up there. It was petriknl I meant that didn't confirm his connections to Norland.

SIMMANIA, these are some nice looking pics of your City, very nice I'd even say.2.gif
