<<In Norland the people believe in good health with regular exercise and once a month a walk through the Nature is organized by the National Health department, which we see below. Several kilometers are being walked on by most of the population and ever since it started back in the 18th century, health is improving in this Nation.
Only a few mountain villages are still excempt of this fairly new tradition, probably mostly because they still believe that good food is the mainkey for a better health. Besides they are the so-called left-overs from the aborigins that the Norlanders conquered some 900 years ago in this region and never wanted to join the mass population of the Norlanders.>>

Just a small taste of Norland traditions and beliefs......lol
I took this picture in the middle of the Jochental County (Norland's mountain range) . Strange because no houses  or other bldgs have been built there yet, but people are mandering all over the place, and then I had the idea of the story above.

I am glad you do Alkaola.

I love medium maps and I have been playing with them all the time. You can make a better looking and mostly better working city in no time, while on a big map the game stalls many times and you see the end only after many and many hours of gameplay.
On a medium map you can have a working and independanty city in one evening only, and I like to see the development going faster and better, since I do not have that much free time irl to bother with a big map.

Excellent observation. Since the land besides a river are always the richest for agriculture, you did an excellent job there to have placed the farms in the right spots.Good job!

    Hi friends !

Just a short come back to show you where I am with the preparation of my country : REPUBLIK OF ISTRIA

    istria006.jpg

I've already created more than 40 towns and villages. I still have to build my capital city which will be in the northwestern part of the country.

Here after are two examples of what these villages look like : very rural, few industries, almost no transportation network. The REPUBLIK of ISTRIA is quite poor and far beyond its neighbours...

Micke, nice BAT, all it needs is a urn or a chair on the balcony and maybe a chimney and it's ready for the STEX. I'd download it.
