GLR issue... what's going on?? PLEASE HELP!

Please see the picture above. I'm brand new at this.

For some reason people only use the stations for bus stops, and not El-train. I have the latest jan09 NAM, and I dragged one-way streets on the station after I placed them.

The only thing I can't do that maybe the problem, I read on the forums on various threads that I'm supposed to drag El-train tracks on the station too, but it won't allow me to do that.

In addition, how come there's no road access for my zone?

Can someone help? I really want this to work!

It's kind of hard to see from the image, but what stations are you using? Do you have a station placed at the destination that you want Sims to depart and a way for them to reach the jobs? Also, have you tried deleting the highway connection to see if the GLR connection is used?

If I'm looking at the image correctly, it looks like the no access zones are next to the station lots. That's a consequence of using roadtop stations.
