NAM 2009 Problems and commute time

Hello Everyone, 1) Yesterday I downloaded the new NAM Version, after the installation, all the people walk to their job and not using their car even if the distance between the home and job is big, they don't use cars.. 2) Most of the High-residential lots in my city has Medium commute time even they have no any Congestion on the roads between their homes and jobs very low. Please help.. it makes me depressed...

Hello,

What happened, is you installed one of the Park&Ride plugins.  easily fixed, but requires re-installing the NAM.

Instead of choosing Park&Ride, choose one different, like Perfect Pathfinding for example.

I did it, it fixed the first problem but the second one still exists

You might have to start up a new city, because the game could be confused after you switched its pathfinding rules twice now.

I Tried it also, even Reinstalled Simcity (I removed it totally with a special registry cleaner after the regular reinstall) and I removed all my plugins except NAM (which I reinstalled)

but nothing helped please!

The fact that you're experiencing abandonment due to commute time may have nothing to do with the NAM. Search the forums and you'll find threads like this that go into details on what else could be happening.

you might try going back to the old nam... I dont really use anything in the new nam except the monorail station re-emerging.

A. Like said before it could be the simulator that you chose

B. You may have downloaded a modd that is changing and/or conflicting your settings

C. You may want to search some of ST's threads because you may not be the only one with that problem
