neocero... Welcome to Simtropolis...

First, on your Industrial Quadrupler... I've copied a portion of the readme here...

Additional Notes:
First of all, for this mod to take effect, you will need to load and save each city in your region that contains industrial buildings. No changes will be made in the number of industrial jobs until this is done.

If your experience is anything like mine, you will see a corresponding reduction in the amount of industrial demand. If you already have a lot of industry, there is a strong possibility that some of it will become abandoned because the number of jobs will suddenly quadruple. However, you may not see this effect until you've loaded and saved all cities in your region, because it is their combined demand that creates the overall regional demand. The effect of this mod will be most notable in new regions, because you will see that it takes very little industry now to use up demand. quote>

Have you started using the mod in established cities? If so, you'll need to open and save each one if there are industrial lots in them. You might check the jobs without the mod and then with to see if there's any difference.

As for creating custom regions...

If you mean you want to terraform your own, you can click the Region View Options icon when the game begins, and then the Create New Region icon on the left. This will give you a blank terrain the you can terraform yourself however you wish. There are also other programs you can use to create your own regions. You can check out SC4 Terraformer and Landscape Designer.

If you want to download maps that have already been made, here's a guide on how to do it. Be sure to note the file type in the download so you'll know which method to use. Hope this helps and let us know if you have more questions about this.

Did you place the mod in the Progrma Files/Maxis/SimCity 4/Plugins folder (as phillyb86 mentioned)? I forgot to ask that in my original post. That is where I have placed it, and all seems to work well. Also, 'Save and Exit to Region' should the same as saving first and then exiting.

Regions operate seperate from each other. What ever happens in won't affect anything in an other. You would just need to open and save any cities in the region you are working with after installing the mod.

While it is possible to make small and medium cities larger by changing the config file, it is not possible to make larger cities any larger. The game recognizes the three basic sizes only. In any case, changing city sizes would be disasterous for any cities that have been started as any development would be wiped out, including terrain. So, unless that is what you want, don't do it.

Assuming you mean developed cities, in the numerous SC4 websites I have visited, this hasn't been offered. I'm not saying they're impossible to find, I just haven't seen any. To do so would require files that could be quite large. Plus, with the use of custom content, whatever cities able to be downloaded would also require the same plugins by the downloader as the creator used to build it. If you're interested in getting ideas for building your own cities, you could check out the City Journals on this site and others.

    Hope this helps...
