getting subways to show up in regional transit view

Is there any way to do this? It would be easier for to plan my mass transit network if I could see the subways in the regional view.

I don't think so simply because they are underground. I could be wrong, but I totally forgot there was a regional transit view.

Dude, there is no way of doing this. It is just impossible because the system is underground and the region view is too large for something as minor as Subway's, sorry IntrepidMan...

^Well subways aren't minor in my transit network. The subway network in my central city is quite extensive.

Yeah, but it's just not practical to show it. The only thing you can do is remember how your system was set up in the neighboring city or draw it out on paper. Another idea is take a screen shot, print it out, and the draw the way you want it to be layed out. Other than that, there's nothing else you can do. Sorry.

You could temporally replace the subways with elevated rail, those do show up on the regional transport map. As soon as you've made the connections to the neighbouring city, tear them down again.

I was thinking about that too, but it would be such a pain and would cost so much that it wouldn't be worth it.
