Avatar Tempstruct Issue

I've tried to upload a new avatar; it follows all the rules yet when I upload it comes up with an error box saying that it doesn't work.

The message on the box is:

"There was an error reading your authour icon. The error was: Variable TEMPSTRUCT is undefined"

Not to worry, seems the problem is sorted if you upload a gif instead of a jpeg.

He is probably implying that because your sig image is 300x50 that it does not comply with   

"Images on this forum must always be 800x600"

In Photoshop: Use the save for web feature.

In Paint Shop Pro: Use the Export as JPEG feature.

That fixed the problem for me a while back.
