Well I recommend that you play on large city tiles...I know it will be a little more difficult to properly scale, but it's worth a try.

I'm from sunny sunny Bournemouth, and will look on at your progress as it might give me some ideas for English style development.

For your market square try using the pedmal tiles for pedestrian only areas and then use some plazas etc

I'm looking at Aylesbury in Google Earth and I can see the resemblance! Aylesbury looks really nice in these pics!

Market Square

Something i mentioned in a previous post, is ways to recreate the market sqaure, in the heart of Aylesbury. The market square dates back to hundreds of years, when Aylesbury was a village based around a small farmers market. Today, the market square is still a popular and thriving community, wedged in the middle of two shopping malls in the CBD. 

Therefore, it matters a lot that the market sqaure is in this recreation, and i want it to look as good as possible. So this afternoon, i downloaded some market stall props by gascooker, and i downloaded the lot editor, and after a bit of fiddling around i made these lots...

 

Just add some sandstone ped mall tiles and you get this...

I want to gather some thoughts on these lots...

I'm going to make a few more, and maybe some sandstone plazas and stuff, but before i continue, i want some advice, plus, do you reckon i should some people onto the lots to make it seem more like the alive and thriving place it is...?

All comments, positive and negative (afterall i am very new to this) are welcome...

Looks great! And yeah you should add some people to it! Try to add benches and lights posts and other props, so it would look as it was were busy!
