GLR Avenue station

As you can see something is missing here I think.

I don't know why, because I have GLR.

Can someone help me?

Did you lay down the tracks first? Then plop the station over top. You then might need to plop tracks over it... or if you use the draggable GLR then you can drag the tracks through the station.

Has it been like this or is it something that just started? Do you have the April 2008 version of NAM and the July 2008 version of the SFBT Essential files installed?

Hi,

I am looking if I have the files you mentioned.

When I plop the station the game doesn't want to build tracks at that place, or when I have buid the tracks the game doesn't want to build the station.

I'll write soon again.

If this is what you're going for...

...you'll need to build the Tram-in-Ave with the the pieces, leaving a space for the station. Then plop the station in the space.

Also, for the missing tracks (as in your image above), you'll need the SFBT Essentials.

Now I am going the solve another problem, my game crashes back to my desktop too often. So i think I need to clean up my plugins.

Also, you may want to be alert for what you are doing in the game when the crashes occur. While using the various pieces from NAM, it is important to use them carefully. When pieces have been selected with the cursor, the game will crash if certain pieces are hovered over or even touch certain transit-enabled lots.

You know, I was just about to post about this... I have the same problem but when I look at the SFBT Essentials download page... "You have downloaded this 1 times ... last 2008/05/19" Oh... I think I just solved my problem there... I assume these textures in question were included in the July update?

I think the July version of the Essentials file came along when the roundabout stations were added to the SFBT GLR mod, though other things may have been adjusted also. My download of the Essentials states '2008/07/28' which was right after the new version came out, so maybe it is needed for the other items in the newer GLR mod to function properly also.

I suppose I am simply overwhelmed with all of this. I have a similar problem as mentioned here after having installed the January NAM...I do not see the GLR stations available to place. I get all the rail pieces but no stations (and I am assuming other things as well that I do not necessarily know should be there). I am attributing this to having done some kind of install, plug-in, mod or whatever at some point in the past. I am looking for answers like a good little ***** but always seem to hit a wall. I searched this site for SFBT Essentials as mentioned above and find one download...from November of 06 (I downloaded it anyway since I may never find it again). I search Google and find this...https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=750 which is the same site I was directed to for something called Cleanitol (or something close) and there was no download link on that page just like this link. I even joined their site, thinking only their members might have access.

If I have gotten myself into a neverending, futile series of patching, upgrading, modding, etc.,trying to get my game to a playable level again rather than just playing the game, let me know right now and I will bow out gracefully and just play the game as is.

Aquatiriman - Did you register at SC4Devotion as well as the LEX, they are part of the same site but you need to register to both parts separately

The LEX is their version of the STEX here but it needs a separate login to access the files

Thank you very much for this. It is amazing how one simple step can make the entire venture seem insurmountable. I have never seen a site where I had to register in two different places like that but I have now registered with the LEX as wel as SC4Devotion. Hopefully I can now download the programs needed and get to play with some of these fantastic game alterations. Thank you again.

Don't give up hope... Granted, there can be a small learning curve when new things are added or updates are made, but it is all worth it in the end as the game is made so much more enjoyable. You happen to be entering at a time when many things are happening and it may seem a little confusing. Just let us know how we can help...

I don't know if you have discovered this or not, but there are no stations included in the NAM. The stations under discussion, the SFBT GLR Mod, are a separate download. Hope this helps...
