I am trying to figure out if there is anyplace other than the plugins folder where "changes" to the game could be found. I am running SC4 Deluxe/ Rush Hour with EP1 Update 1 (build 638). I may have downloaded a mod at some point previously as I have had the ped mall icon (giving the over-the-road walkways) in the road menu for some time but have just located all of these wonderful extras I would like to try (like GLR or the tram). My plugins folder contains: Network Addon Mod (just installed june 09 version after uninstalling previous version) SFBT (just installed March 09) bldgprop_vol1.dat bldgprop_vol2.dat I have used the "Identify Faulty Plugins" method, removing each of the files/folders individually and found the Network Addon Mod gives me 98% of the stuff I have. The only thing I noticed added from SFBT was an extra cloverleaf option, which is not present once the Network Addon Mod is back in. I have run Cleanitol several times using a number of master txt files and the only one indicating anything was missing / a problem listed the bldgprop files, which I promptly added. I am stumped. Oh, and I tried a fresh install into a new folder but of course this does not clear out the my documents, so I am guessing the culprit is there. Since I have never had these items, I am not even sure what all I should have, so I am uncertain what I might be missing beyond the GLR or Tram buildings. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for this. It is amazing how one simple step can make the entire venture seem insurmountable. I have never seen a site where I had to register in two different places like that but I have now registered with the LEX as wel as SC4Devotion. Hopefully I can now download the programs needed and get to play with some of these fantastic game alterations. Thank you again.

I suppose I am simply overwhelmed with all of this. I have a similar problem as mentioned here after having installed the January NAM...I do not see the GLR stations available to place. I get all the rail pieces but no stations (and I am assuming other things as well that I do not necessarily know should be there). I am attributing this to having done some kind of install, plug-in, mod or whatever at some point in the past. I am looking for answers like a good little ***** but always seem to hit a wall. I searched this site for SFBT Essentials as mentioned above and find one download...from November of 06 (I downloaded it anyway since I may never find it again). I search Google and find this...https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=750 which is the same site I was directed to for something called Cleanitol (or something close) and there was no download link on that page just like this link. I even joined their site, thinking only their members might have access. If I have gotten myself into a neverending, futile series of patching, upgrading, modding, etc.,trying to get my game to a playable level again rather than just playing the game, let me know right now and I will bow out gracefully and just play the game as is.
