I have a new computer and i have some old cities in my old comp that really want to keep after all that hard work. Im using a 1 gb pendrive to transfer the cities but i noticed that i canot save a created region into the pendrive for it does not appear, so i take my cities and i extract them to other cities ( e.g timbuktu, new york) that appear on the files that can be saved to the pendrive. The thing is after ive saved my cities on timbuktu or new york they do not appear in the  document files under timbuktu or new york when i want to save them.

pls i need help on this.

Go ahead and transfer your entire region (The folder inside your My Documents\SimCity 4\Regions\[REGION] manually onto your flash drive, then move that region folder onto your new computer. Should work 100%

where exactly are you getting your city files if not from your region folder ?   46.gif

If it helps any, the other region folder is C:\Program Files\Maxis\Simcity 4\Regions

But thats probably of little use if you've already found your city files... but somehow they are not part of any region?  the folder they are contained in should be your region's folder.  This is all very confusing to me; are you sure its not a simple oversight?

edit:  PS if you already transferred your cities over and don't care too much for the region anyway, try importing them within the game (click on blank city tile, one of the buttons besides start new city should let you import)
