Rush Hour Question

Hi everyone. This may be a stupid question, but I really need an answer.

I've downloaded a few "mods" recently, such as the Super Demand Ordinance or some "new" landmarks. Well, I want to install the Rush Hour expansion on my PC.

Are these mods still going to work after the installation? Or worse, are they going to "crash" the game for some reason?

Thanks for the attention.

Happy new year 4.gif

PS: My "mods" (Super Demand, Landmarks etc.) are located: C/: Programfiles/Maxis/Simcity4/Plugins

Are they still going to work if I move them in a the "correct" directory?

(MyDocuments/Simcity4/Plugins)

    Thank you very much. But I have another problem now. I don't want to start a new Thread / Topic, so I'll ask here.

    I've downloaded this ploppable building (it doesn't require Rush Hour). However, it is not working for me.

    There are three file in the archive: 2 SC4 MODEL and 1 SC4 LOT (or viceversa). I've downloaded all of them in C/: Programfiles/Maxis/Simcity4/Plugins and then moved them in MyDocuments/Simcity4/Plugins.

    The building didn't work in both directories. Here's what happens actually:

    Custom buildings are only supported in Rushhour. The current marking system on the STEX may not have existed when the building was uploaded.

    I understand.

    Thanks for the info.

    That was a great building. Another reason to get Rush Hour...

    Yeah. I have noticed that XD I've downloaded other buildings that "do not require Rush Hour", but they don't work correctly, or landmarks are "plopped" instead of them in the game.

    Thank you anyway. I'm new here on SimTropolis, but I actually play SimCity since SimCity2000 (I know that it's not the first one though). Good times (but I love SC4 too).

    You probably would be better off to move your plugin folder before installing Rush Hour and then returning the files to the new plugin folder afterward.

    OK. I don't want to start a new topic for a new question, so I'll ask in this one.

    I've downloaded a .rar file for SC4 named "Building as Props". There are two files in the archive:

    -> SimCity_4_Building_as_Props.dat

    -> Rush_Hour_Building_as_Props.dat (I'm assuming that I don't need this one since I don't have Rush Hour)quote>

    I think the should go in one of the "Plugins" directory. But my question is: what are these .dat files going to do? Are they going to "add" every building in the "prop list" (Lot Editor)?

    Thanks for the attention 4.gif

    EDIT: Never mind: the first file did what I thought, and that's a good thing. Thanks anyway 4.gif.
