Hi all,

I've recently got in to Sim City 4 and I'm having an issue with one of the plugins I've found which everyone says is the best around. Downloaded from : https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=3599

I've placed the files in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\Hole Digging Lot V2 and I can see the icons ingame under transport misc.   When I try and use any of them I can lay the tile (get the bulldozer icon) but nothing happens.

I'm only trying to raise tiles not sink them as I want to create an elevated commercial district.   Other plugins I have are NAM and some other rail modification ones.  I've got the latest update as well but still cannot get it to work.

I read in a post somewhere you have to wait a few days for the bulldozers to work but that also doesn't work.

Anyone got an idea as to why it's not working?  Do I have to select a shortcut key to get the bulldozers started?   Sorry I can't find very little help with this.

Welcome to ST and Merry Christmas!

Read the readme, unless you don't have Office(or a program that opens .doc) it gives you quite a detailed explanation. As it shows you in the picture, there is a wider variety of depths and heights with easier to see icons here: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1544 The way of using these newer lots are exactly the same as Smoncrie's

    Merry christmas to you also!

...am I being simple?  There's no download link on the page you've given me, theres a support link but no download link/button

Thanks for your help so far!

P.S - I read the readme and installed it where it told me, like I said I can see the ingame menu but it's not actually doing what I want it too apart from placing a tile with a bulldozer on....

One more question.......how can I change the direction of the digger?  It seems to face whichever way it wants (dependant on whether a road or gap is close to the tile)

    ***EDIT*** solved this one thanks.
