Curved roads & railroads: how?

How do I make the curved roads and railroads?  I have all the files needed but can't figure out how to do them?

Hi, crowcreek,

Welcome to Simtropolis.  You will need to find your NAM puzzle pieces icon in your road and rail menus.  Select it and press Tab to cycle through each piece until you find the curves, they are close to the end.  Or you can hold down Ctrl while pressing Tab to start at the end and get to them sooner.  For roads you have the choice of 45, 90 degree curves, or an "S" curve.  Rail has just one option.  When you have the piece on your tool tip, move it over the landscape until you can see the shadow, use Home and End to rotate it if necessary, then plop it when it is in the right position.  You may have to terraform a bit to get the landscape flat enough and move the piece around a little to get the right connection to show up.  It takes a bit of practice to get them to connect correctly.  Please let me know if I have confused you, and I will try to explain it better or show some pictures.

yes... there is... curving roads on the omnibus , by wouanagaine  --- is a great tutorial that would work well with rail too.
