Hi everyone, I've just returned to SC4 because of one of those urges I'm sure many of you know. This is my new region, just started, and I'm wondering what you think of it/what you think I should do with it? Just terraforming at this point. My plan is to put mountains on the north shore of the bay/large river and some smaller hills around the southern river. I'll probably be leaving the south shore of the bay pretty flat for my main city. What do you think of the shorelines and such? I embrace constructive criticism. Thanks NovaTerra-1228182708.jpg Edit: Is there a preview button I'm not seeing?

What do you plan to do with that hilly southern area.  I have had luck with building many residential communities throughout soft rolling hills.  What about the mountanous region to the north?  Industry?  Im curious what your plans are for building.

I'm planning residential for the southern area, the north shore will have a port I think, so definitely some industry but probably residential as I get higher up the mountains.

I see a lot of potential in the maps, especially with the peninsula into your bay: Industry on North and Res on South connected by massive infrastructure. Also the slender Island in the very South-East could be an interesting map.

You have several all flat lots that could have some really interesting mountain features. Maybe when making the mountains you could think about how water drains from them to the bay and rivers below.

    Have fun!

I think your sound is great a lot of shoreline to base your city designing around. I'd download it. Got it in grey scale? haha

ididntdidit - if you like I'll add it to the STEX. Not that I have any idea how to do that with a map. I'll finish it first though. This is how it's looking right now. Does anyone know how to fix the annoying differences between the trees in each city? NovaTerra-1228272486.jpg Edit: How do you format in this forum? I put lines between paragraphs and they don't appear in the final message?
