Greetings Pals and Gals.

Have I misinterpreted the meaning of Plop and Grows?

The way I understand it is when a building (in the ST-Ex) is marked as grows it gets built by the sims that own the land and it upgrades/evovles automaticly as the area grows and changes thus other buildings (both downloaded and already included with the game) will replace them.

Like the title says, Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, a growable will grow under the right circumstances if zoned properly, and is not intented to be plopped, in opposite to a ploppable lot which is meant to be plopped, if you get me...

Growable lots, like most residentials cause they want work when plopped, comes in stages from 1 - 8 (with CAM you get 7 more stages).

A stage 3 building will upgrade over a stage 2 building and so on, if you not make it historical. Then it want upgrade.

Every lot is set to a tileset, like Chicago, New York, Euro etc, only the tileset you chose will grow.

CAM is a mod that is fully growables.

All growables are called CAMeLots, they are special lots because they consist of the hard changes to the game that CAM includes. Such as, new growth stages, updated other stuff that is like zones.

Not many people suggest CAM because it "damages the game" they say. I have it in my plugins folder and it is working fine.
