Great job, you spend so much time putting so much to detail and your pictures and images in cities. I can't wait to see what you can have up your sleeves next time  but I know its going to be fun and exciting I.

Dolfan: I don't think that I have more time than you, as a matter of fact, I am very busy too, but I love doing this, so I do some kind of overtime....lol

News from Birdsview's accident this morning.
As we know, the waterpipeline from Grand Dam to Nexis East is being constructed by two different Companies. Owen Shepherd from Grand Dam is taking care of the northern half and Mr Rilian is coming from the south. It will be much more complicated and longer for Rilian to lay his pipes, since his terrain is rougher than the plains up north. He has to go under the lake, then under a river, up a steep hill before he is on top of the plains.
Shepherd has it a bit easier, he is mostly on flat land, except in Lichen, where the pipes have to go over a smaller canyon. There it is on top of the soil, whereas in the village of Lichen and afterwards, the pipes go underground.
Now, without much experience in laying pipes on rougher land, the men of Shepherd didn't take too much care of the tumbling rocks in the valley near the town of Lichen. Since the pipes are above ground and no real protection was installed yet, as Shepherd wanted it though, before the water is pumped into the pipes, and by the first time when rocks started tumbling, the damage was done. Up to Lichen , the water was already running and the town was enjoying the abundance of clean water from Grand Dam, but only for a short moment. The mainpipe got hit by a big rock and opened up just like a sardine can. The pipe which is 8 ft (almost 3 m) in diameter didn't take long to spit out many thousands of Gallons all over the countryside, inondating some land, but also drowing 3 workers to their death.
Because the security shut off system not yet installed in Grand Dam, it took more than 2 hours to stop the water from running .

Honestly, I have never seen a grown-up man so mad , as I did see Mr Shepherd when the news of this accident reached him, treating his people as a bunch of no-goods and incompetants. He was pissed off like it has never been seen before!-Being the responsable for this project, Owen fired about a dozen of his workers the same day and will be accusing some of them in court for causing this deadly accident, that left three wifes without their husband.
Rilian went to see to support Owen as soon as he heard about this.

In Urulia, the Capitol of Uru, the International Convention of Space Traders, was held earlier this week and Ms Evermind being about the best space-Stationional informed person on Genesis, she represented the planet of Genesis and the Company of Nexis Corporation Space Division . She talked about the just finished project of Space-Station II Traveler, that will be send to Verto soon, only to continue to Opall right after. Her speech to almost 16000 people was well plannned and Vallen Nexis, her boss, congratulated her for her performance of professionalism.
*Her explanations of the functioning of the new space station couldn't have been said better by anyone else*, mentioned Vallen Nexis in a press conference right after.
More about this Station later, when it arrives on Verto. It will leave Genesis in about 4 months.
    /idealbb/files/3UruliaConventEvermind.jpg
Meanwhile in East Nexis the train Station was finished and right after, construction of residential and commercial importance took place , surrouning the station. As mentioned before, this will heavily increase the demand for all kinds of zones in the area of both Nexis East and Nexis City.

I will be back later this week with the strange going-ons in Lichen, the university in Bolton and again the arrival of the railways in Nexis City and Cedar Bay.1.gif

It's really bad what happened, but you put Lichen instead of Birdsview in the main part of the story.

It's a great part of your city journal! I really like the train station.

Sorry ninten1 , but I don't understand the part of putting Lichen instead of Birdsview  in the main part of the story.
I didn't talk about Lichen yet, or did I? Or is there something that I miss?

The story of Lichen is still coming up.
BTW,  Lichen is a neighboring township of Birdsview (southeast)

    Now, something else:

The mayor of New Sholes decided to offer the Marina to the private sector and put it up for sale. The minimum price asked is

Mr Cinatit: this is what I was going to be afraid of for a lon<g time, to loose somewhat of the control of my own CJ....lol..... I have been writing and updating for many pages and took care for 30+ personalities, kinda hard to keep track of it all34.gif....lol
I can easily understand you if you have gotten confused.

Ok, a very small update today:
The arrival of the railways in Cedar Bay today was much appreciated by the majority of the population. It will be easier to ship all these finished goods from the manufacturers and also to get the people from Nexis City and other plces here to come and work. Now even the travel to the Capitol City by car has been cut into two with the train.
The rails are being continued to make a connection to Unforgiven and then enter the New Country only to travel towards the regional borderline in the West.

    /idealbb/files/6CedarBay-RailsArrival.jpg
The first Nexians who took the train from Cedar Bay to Gloryville, just were amazed on how beautiful the scenery of this voyage is, especially going over the bridges in Cedar Bay and Nexis Islands.
    /idealbb/files/7CedarBay-TrainOnBridge.jpg
In Bolton the ribbon to the Main entrance of the first University on Genesis was cut by Dan, the regional Director of Education. The Mayor shook hands with Dan and mentioned in front of all the journalists: * If it wasn't for Mr Dan, we would have never had an university here in Bolton. Now let's only help that this will bring lots of benefits to our beloved town of Bolton in the future.
The University consists of a sporting center, museum and library, but also a modern laboratory for students to use and experiment.

I will be back later today with the final results for the submission (bid) of the New Sholes Marina, still holding at

The bids for the New Sholes Marina (see above) are in and it is Mr Sven, our Realestate agent who gave the biggest offer in the amount of

Well, I guess the rep from Sirius did get up late, not to bid on this marina.

More and more people on Genesis are talking about this new Sirius group, that owns almost a third of all the bigger companies in Urulia from matches to Banks.
The son of one of the stockholders was born today and he was named Timotheus. We will slowly start keeping an eye on him once in awhile.
At this moment , the Sirius Group has made arrangements with Brett's Company, our commercial  construction Specialist ,to build the Sirius Finance Bank  on a lot that they recently bought from Mr Sven in Axis City. Construction will start in a couple of months. This will be a serious competition to other Banks, including the Nexis Bank in Axis South.

Right now Sirius owns the biggest and most widespred financial institutions on the Urulian planet, and many Urulian citizens have taken a loan there to be able to pay for the immigration to Genesis. So, it was a sudden necessarity to build a Bank-Filiale (branch) right here on Genesis.

it would appear that some of the boats in my marina have disappeared overnight, I have security looking into the matter. something fishy seems to be going on, as it appears that the mooring lines were cut...27.gif28.gif
