Ok, this is a big update (10 Pics) and also the third one this week,hope you will like it.......and if you have been following this story since the beginning and never post anything, leave me note at least once,ok?  Tnx...

 

Gloryville has officially been selected as the Capitol of the Genesis region,being the first settlement and also situated in the middle of the other towns. The Regional Administration Office will soon be build on Mainstreet, but meanwhile the office is lodged in the City Hall,which had to *throw* out a Notary Office to make room. The Region has a population of over 10,000 now.

 

Regional Administration will be devided into several Subdivisions, such as the Land-Zoning Commission, the Waterway Office, the Bureau of the Traffic department,Conservation of the Natural Habitat Office, etc...,all creating over 350 jobs in the near future.- Also an election of four more Rulers will be held on the next first of month,( Government needs a total of 5 Rulers,as on Uru).
Each Township will have their Mayor and a Representative in the Regional Administration Office.- In simpler words, Genesis is forming a Government, still dependant on Uru though.

Because of the growing High demand for Residential Zones, the Commission has donated many acres of buildable Residential land in three different Townships: Gloryville, New Sholes and Bolton, just south of Axis.

Westward of New Sholes a connection to Highway 1 was built by the Nexis Oil Company with a cost that the Oil Co gladly excepted. This only will help the Company to ship their Crude Oil to the North Region, where the Refinery is. Maybe one Day,The Rising Sun Oil Company will have a Refinery build right here in New Shores or Red Poll.- Also Gloryville finally has a connection through the township of Bolton, west of it.

A newcomer to Genesis is the well known (and also the richest man on Uru) Aurat Dice and all his family. He owns the only Electronics Mfg Co on Uru,which made all the computers and robots for the discovery of Genesis at the time when his father was the Owner.
Aurat bought the townships of Bolton, Skinner (south of Bolton and north of Red Poll) and Red Poll. The money was very welcomed by the Government for the the future projects for the different townships.
What exactly Aurat has in mind to do with all this land is still unknown, probably another heavy industrial Manufacturing site.He will be building his Domain on Shimac Mountain (see map in the previous posts,west/left of Axis.

Another well known Millionaire from Urulia, Huber Sims, from the big Logging Firm *Razor-Blade Logging Enterprises* has bought  more than 40% of the township of Treeland , and we all can easily understand why, just looking at the picture.

A small group of people have demonstrated today , in front of the Town Hall in Gloryville, to remind the Commission of Natural Environment , what this Company has done on Uru. *Total Deforestation and Destruction of the Environment on Million of acres of land are their Speciality* as they said. * We do not want this to start again here on Genesis*, they yelled out. No violence was reported, but Axis Police was informed to stay put.

Treeland also formed a small Farming Community, which received a Government grant to encourage agriculture and farming. The farmers will work in co-operation with the Logging Company for the development of this region.

Other News:-- Mahoon, by the demand of Oriol, will send 800 specialized workers to Genesis, to get a good start on the transportation system. These Gaburans (the people from Mahoon) have developped a kind of a railing system, where cars can travel on rails and so make transportation of bigger loads much easier, they call them Trains. (something Urulians don't know yet). The new system will be implanted from Gloryville to the northern region, just as the highway, to connect both regions.- Other projects are: An Airport in Gloryville to have faster access to different parts of the Region, a Harbour in Tenzel Outlet, to explore the possibilities of the waterways and more roads here and there.
These Gaburans will be housed near Tenzel Outlet , where the construction of a Gaburan Village has already started. They will even have a school, for them to learn our language.

-- Vallen Nexis, which has 3 youngsters now (2 boys and 1 daughter) is moving to his camp on Nexis Island with his family next month, to stay behind a bit to take care of his family for a few months,but will keep in contact with the Mapping Department. I was personally invited to spend a few days relaxing in his camp
-- Some of the First Arrivals have deseased of old age by now, as : Col.Kroncx,Dr Tyonca,Dr Funa md,Vallen and Bimmel. They have been buried in a private cemetary, near the grave of Capt Furron on Furron Hill, in Gloryville. They will all be remembered.

-- The other three members of the team  here are still alive and well. Mollock and Dr Phlixmen are retired now. *Mollock is always somewhere on the Tenzel river fishing his brains out*, as Phlixmen puts it. Roy, our first Mapper, is still on the job, doing the Mapping of Genesis with the help from Vallen Nexis and some other new Explorers.
-- The LBST has been shut down for a month, just for updating and repairs, both here on Genesis and on Uru.
--Verto is now officially unlivable, after a good explanantion of Oriol, what actually that green stuff on the planet is. It is an algae like plant which produces only Carbonoxide,a substance that is 88 % of the atmosphere. In other words, no other life there possible.The planet is too close to the sun Solaris too.
--Astronomers on Uru have discovered a small dark spot on Solaris (Skin cancer as they refer to), but luckily of no importance yet.
--The son of the late Dr Tyonca,Lance Tyonca, has been nominated the Ambassador for Mahoon. He will be traveling next week with Oriol to his planet and hopefully come back with lots of pics from there. He will be staying for 8 years, but Oriol will be back in 7 months. The first time that an Urulian will put a foot on Mahoon, impossible yet otherwise.
-- Daight Nexis, the father of Vallen Nexis and the Inventor of the LBST (Light-Beam Space Traveler), was honored yesterday with a statue in his image, both here on Genesis and on Uru.

He is now 92 years old and still heading the team of the LBST.- He once said, when he was a kid:* One day I will touch Genesis*. (remember?). So, he did. With help of a ladder he climbed the statue that was erected in honor of the discovery of Genesis in Urulia (Uru's Capitol), and touched the globe with tears in his eyes, which represents Genesis.( We all know that because of some rare health problems, he could never come to Genesis, neither by space traveling nor with the Lightbeam.) Seen by all the folks on Genesis Live in the News, people have gathered a small amount of earth (dirt) from each township possible and filled a Big Blue Porcelain Urn, which will be send to Dr Daight Nexis as a gift and a *Piece of Genesis*, as soon as the LBST will be back online. He doesn't know yet. This will be the Genesis way to thank him for all these years of public service.

An update again, but this time mostly pictures (15 of them).
Just to show you some development for the last couple of months.

To give you an overview of the Nexis Island, here is a picture, where we can easily see the geography of it. Situated almost in the middle of the Genesis Region,it is completely surrrounded by water and some smaller islands. This is the Tenzel River Systems, which actually has two outlets to the sea. The Tenzel River in the North-east, that will by by Axis and then Tenzel Outlet, plus the south-east way, through the Nexis River, through Red Poll and New Sholes, where the Oil Co is.

 

I just came back from the week with Vallen on Nexis Island, and we built his home, while I stayed in his cabin for free. He came back with me, but is leaving again tomorrow to be with his family. He told me that the Administration will be building a route to Nexis Island soon,since it will be easier now, with these 800 Gaburans arrived.

New Sholes, where the Oil Co. is situated on Nexis River, has started a small residential area for the arriving Oilworkers from Uru.

When the Gaburans arrived, they brought along the New Invention of Railtraveling, which Oriol has given as a gift.It was exposed on the Riverside street in Axis and brought almost everyone from all the townships together to look at this technical achievement from Mahoon. Just an amazing idea to have them travel on rails. Some rails will be layed as soon as the Metal Company in Axis can make some miles of tracks.

Aurat Dice has started his * Dice Electronics * here in Bolton, which also drew some residents to come live here.

Meanwhile in Gloryville, the Gaburans have started the first building project, the Airport, first they will be smaller planes , but soon this will help also to connect with our northern and Southern friends.

Also the residential area is bein slowly filled, but now ,they need jobs in Gloryville soon.Some Companies from Uru will soon arrive and open their shops and Manufacturings, which will also draw new Immigrants and of course later some more commerce.

The Rulers, Administrators and even the Mayor and the Notary are finally satisfied with the construction of the Regional Administration Office. The Notary has returned to an office in the Townhall.Now it's the Law Office who will soon build their building.

Just in time , when the Gaburans arrived, the Housing Project was finished, south of Tenzel Outlet.

Just for Gaburans for the moment being, these are somehow luxurious Appartments, not too far from town, and they even have their own school, which will teach them the Urulian language.

In Treeland, which is probably the most demanded place around, people have lined up to get some land to practice agriculture. The Genesis Government will provide the financial needs of these new Farmers at the rate of 75 % for free, as a grant to encourage farming. Cattle arrive through the LBST almost every week now and are auctioned off right her in Treeland's own little Farm Community.- Only one problem: There are more demands for agricultural land, than there is  land itself.-The Rulers will probably open a neighboring township soon to fill the needs of farms.

No one really has seen it yet (general population), but devastatation in Treeland has begun with rapid deforestation.

Here, the timber logs are brought in from the forest, piled, scaled and then shipped by trucks to the Major Sawmill.

Razor-Blade Logging Company have built a small part of their needs and are already shipping much needed Construction materials to the towns.

 

The logs are brought in from the Lumber Yard ( up two above) and then cut here in the Main Sawill (bottom right) into rough timber and then dried and sanded (on the left) ,to then again being verified,measured, priced,packaged and shipped (on the upper right).

 

Hiring 40 more Loggers,Truckdrivers...... are YOU interested? Good Pay and a free weekend on Nexis Island.

It is Novalys, and not Nocalys, the name didn't change.My Error! ( Darn)

I have big fingers and when I type quickly I sometimes hit two at the same time, and the c is close to the v. And I don't always check afterwards ( maybe I should) Sorry....

I was looking at your logging yard, what a brilliant idea, you should have put a crane (from my crane props) or two in so that they can move the loggs around easyier.

Good Idea Lord_Q. I just thought of something for later. This Logging Co is getting much better with time and then they will need bigger and more powerful machinery, hey....that's when Your Crane will come in handy.

 

Ma8thew, I am not sure, if I will put the logging lot or the sawmill in the exchange yet, all depending on the demand I will receive. If not , you can pm me later next week, and I'll send you the lot.(don't tell anyone though)....lol

 

MrVege, the idea came a bit to late, but still it seems to be working. It should've been before any buildings appeared.

Nice job mrbisonm, but I have a few questions.  First, why is Kdorn so big?  It's bigger than Solaris!  Also, since Opall is going to hit Uru, how come Urulians arent rushing out of the planet?  Great job, btw.

Kdorn is sooooo big, because it is since the beginning, I have no special reason for it. As you might know, it is made out of gazes and it is not solid.

 

Urulians are rushing out alright, but the LBST can only transport so much and then it needs to be recharged. But they do not rush because of fear, but because they want a better life or hope to have a better one on Genesis.-By the way, if you would know that  Our earth is going to be hit in approx 700 years by a giant Meteor, will you rush out ? I don't think so, since you will be long dead , when it hits. Right?

1. Are those logs custom props?

 

2. Is Vallen Nexis's house a BAT? I don't remember it from SC4..

I have read your latest update, I'm a very big fan of your CJ, which I always very eager to look at its updates. I don't really post much comments, as my english is not good and it take me quite time to write, but I always read it, I never miss it.

I really hope you'll keep on coming with your CJ, I will also make comments often more in the next times.
