The road to the top of the mountain has been finished and room is being made for the construction of the Settlercamps.
95 Newcomers will land on Genesis in 82 days and these camps will be their new home.It will be on top of the hill,where one has a beautiful of the valley and the Base camp below.
On arrival of these 95 Urulians, 3 of them will assemble the LBST right away near the top of this hill.

While some of the crew stayed behind in the camp, others left on a expedition to see the Alien *thing*.Col.Kroncx was the responsable. Here is the report that he sent to the Control Station on Uru:
  ** We , 4 of us only, went to the Alien thing and found out that it was , as suspected , an Alien Camp, which seems to be a Vessel at the same time. Our Battletank was left behind , but in fire range, not to frighten anything that could be alive there, but severe precautions were taken. At first the camp looked deserted, but then Something appeared out of it and waved its hand to us. -I  ordered my men to stay put and went ahead towards this creature to find out to my greatest surprise, that he was an Urulianoid, just like us.Impossible ? But true.He wasn't even surprised to see us, as if he knew......
We tried to communicate , but because of the difference of sounds, it was impossible.We stayed for more than 3 hours and we gave him a name: Oriol.
Very kind and stunningly Urulian like, he invited all of us to eat, food that he found here.The way we see it, he must be here for years, or maybe they change every time or so.Hard to tell.-In his *tent* we saw dried and preserved samples of almost everything found here on Genesis.Is he a Scientist? -- Dr Tyonca, who was with us, offered him a gum, that she took along and when he chewed it, his eyes lightened up and one could almost say that there was a smile on his face.Now , that we are back,we are still amazed, but also have the strong need to know more. We will be back to see him**

This report was published on all TV stations along with this picture of the Urulianoid.

Urulians are amazed and want to know more.Who is he, where does he come from...etc.

On Uru, Dr Nexis is almost finished with the phase 4 of the LBST (Lightbeam Space Traveler), which will be finished at the same time as the one on Genesis. Who will be the guinea pig to try it out first?

Although that it has been tested many times with animals from Uru to the moon and back and with 100% success everytime, everyone is still kinda.......scared.Hm.....

A very small update....I am so darn busy right now.

Ok, 95 Urulians have arrived on Genesis, and right away a Party was thrown, organized by Col.Kroncx and his crew.It was very difficult to see to it that the Spaceships were unloaded the next morning.
The first Housing settlement has  been built  and it was ready just in time for the arrival of all the vessel,which returned to Uru right after unloading.It even has a General store, a Water supply tank and Col.Kroncx has built his own house with material he gathered here on Genesis.
Now with all the new equipment, 104 Urulians will make wonders happen on Genesis and the transforming of the region is about to start.-They have a lot of work to do, mostly streets and some will travel around the region to see  and to report what else exists on this planet.
Everyone has his duty.

A first Mayor (so to say) was elected ,the day after arrival in the village. It is Saya, the daughter of the Grand Ruler Orcx.

 Also a Security force has been formed for the protection of the settlement.-A place for the construction of the LBST (Light Beam Space Traveler) was chosen and construction will start tomorrow morning at 6:00 hours.
On Uru, this system was finalized yesterday and is ready for transport of some supplies as soon as it is ready here too. Then some volontary Urulians will come.

Oriol, our Alien has come to our Main Camp a couple of times, by foot (?...must be in good shape) and some of the crew has been over to his camp. Here is a report from Col.Kroncx to Ground Control on Uru:

       *We have made several contacts with Oriol, our new friend,and we are starting to understand some things. But we need someone overhere that speaks and understands the language of the Ancients, because we have a reasons to believe, that it could be understood. Oriol's language sounds a lot like it, but no one here knows it...And hey....forget asking him to come to the videophone, he never enters our buildings, nor touches anything. I  am sure that he is here to collect data,but we still don't know,where he is from and what their intensions are. Also we understood that he was leaving, but will be coming back in a short time, and a day after, he hovered over our new village for awhile, before the vessel just disappeared within a second into space.*

Again, this news was all over television today.

So, the Immigrants will get used to the fresh air and their new home. Soon , hordes of Urulians will be arriving.

Dr Daight Nexis can't wait to see, if his inventions will function on Genesis. This will be the event of the year.

J.O.: The Bust pics of the Sims come like this from most Simsites, all I do is some minor touches with propaint. Once in awhile you have to erase the name of the site or cut it shorter or even make it longer. I don't have Ths sims installed.

This really is one of the bes journals. The storyline is brilliant.

I noticed in the pic I quoted that you have (I think) one of my tower crane tower props in one of your lots. Is it supposed to have a crane on top? Just curious. I have only thought of it with the crane on top, it looks a bit strange initially. LOL.

Hey, thanks folks, it is nice to know that some of you really appreciate my CJ, but like I said before, man , I am having a ball writing this.-I take every 10 minutes break that I have to either improve or even add new things to my story, which is btw,written since last fall for a good part of it.

Lord_Quillian: Yes, it is a part of your crane tower, they just started mounting it, because in the future they will build a bigger building right beside it and I added this already to give it more action in the picture.

Mr.Vegetable: don't worry, your CJ is good and if you start a new one, I am sure, it will be too.Mine is just....different.

When I started reading the Journals here last year, it was fun following a city in its developpment, but after awhile I realized that almost all the Journals were more or less alike, .......so..... I had this idea in July and I started writing my story, something completely different, as I promissed on the first page in the Introduction, remember? I said: It will be more than just a story about a city, it will be an adventure.!

I didn't publish it right away, because I waited for the gmax to have some unique buildings in my story, but then I realized that gmax was more complicated than I thought....so it took me awhile again.

At halfways through the story, which we barely arrived here, I changed a lot of things and the story really became to be an Adventure, which we will find out soon.That's when I started to have enormous fun writing it.-The story was getting interesting, mysterious and even nailbitingly dramatic.(we're getting there...lol). It also has some individual stories in it, that's why I started giving some names to my characters and some faces too.

 

Here's a tiny update,no picture.

 

The space station program has been slowed down, because they didn't have any success in finding life on any surrounding planets.Only one person is continuing the observations. Verto cannot be seen from Space Station one, and Mahoon didn't show any lifesigns either.

Opall, the meteor is on its way and some even say that it is picking up speed and might hit Uru earlier than expected, something like 200 years faster....hm.

On Uru, construction of the LBST  is finished and more than 300 Urulians have have volunteered for the journey to Genesis.I guess, if the system will work right, Genesis will be receiving a lot of immigrants.

Still no news of the lost Space-ships and robots, maybe once they get to understand Oriol, he might help with this.

Only one spaceship is still in orbit of Genesis, the others are on their return trip to Uru and should arrive there in a month or so.

Construction of the LBST on Genesis is on its way to completion too, only a couple of minor ajustments and they will be ready to start transporting machinery,cars and other materials, before they actually start sending people.-The LBST system will be able to transport up to 150 persons in one shot and it will only take about 3 seconds for them to reach Genesis.

Daight Nexis got married meanwhile , and has become a Legend on Uru.

Scientists on Genesis have found out that not only health is better when living on this planet, but also that your lifespan can be stretched from an average of 100 years on Uru to almost 130 years on Genesis. Great discovery,which could mean a Mass invasion of immigrants in the near future.

 

Ok, that's it again, I'll be back this weekend with some nice pictures ,and also the first functioning of the LBST will be shown.Oriol will be back and an Language Historian from Uru will be there too....and to your surprise...well...you wouldn't believe it (I still don't)  ...................ehem.....you'll see....Until then....keep your ears up,  and have a nice day.

Here is a large update, since I will be gone for two weeks.I still will look and comment once in awhile , but I won't be able to upload any lots nor continue this adventure.
Therefore be patient and send me your opinions of this story instead , to keep this thread on the first two pages.Thanks.

First of all, something terrible happened on Genesis, while assembling the LBST. Capt. Furron died accidently.When he was asked to hold a heavy part of the LBST, the heavy piece of the Okemeter (the  round part that will produce the light beam) slipped away and hit him right on the head , which killed him instantly.Very sad. Construction was instantly stopped for a week.-Because this is the first Urulian that died on Genesis, his tomb was honored with a big cross, that was built on top of the hill, near the LBST and the Mayor's home.He did not have a family, so only friends were advised on Uru, and therefore his corps was burried right here on Genesis.

 

After one week, the LBST was finished assembling on top of the hill, just behind the Housing Village.People thought , that is the best place for it to be, accessible easily by the new road.

Hopefully, it will be working fine.At first, material will be send and then big machinery,some planes to visit the region, boats for the sea and others for building the first town, and only after all that, some livestock and 300 new voluntary Immigrants.For a year , it will be limited to this. After a study of these 12 months and if everything went well,the door to Genesis will be widely opened.Preparations to accept many Immigrants might start within the first 6 months.Temporary buildings to accomodate up to 5000 people will be constructed near the landing strip, which is only half a mile from the Main Camp.-In the next month the Main Camp will be transformed into a solid building, which we might call the New Town Hall.
Meanwhile on Uru,the LBST was transported in one piece from the Park of Halok in the Center of Urulia, to the Peninsula of Gunst Island , near the Military Harbor.This was done, because of some security reasons. The Grand Ruler Orcx had this decision made last week, after one fellow passed the security and made some graffiti on the frame part.

Here on this high Security Military Island, where even fishermen are being send back, it will be at maximum safety.
Only one of these machines have a cost of 900 million Urons.

When the day has arrived for the first testing of the light-beam traveling,some people have gathered to see the event, only Military personal was allowed and one journalist and Cameraman, which made it possible for Millions of others to see it on television.The Transfer was explained by Dr Daight Nexis  and directed by the creator himself.

On Genesis the specialists were on standby to receive the first shipment also.The whole scene on Uru was sent live with Vidiophones to Genesis, and here they could actually see the boxes disappear in the LBST on Uru and see it come it only seconds later here on Genesis, millions of miles away.What a way to go.

The Event was a big success.The boxes came in one piece, no damage whatsoever.-A Giant Party was thrown on both Uru and Genesis to celebrate the success.Other material will start the transfer tomorrow. It will last for some days.
Here is a detailed picture of the LBST.Any material can be shipped on a light-beam at 3000 times the speed of light, except explosives and anything made of gold and silver.

 

Meanwhile the New Village on Genesis was completely empty, everyone,without any exception, was partying.

A week later, their friend Oriol has come back and landed his Vessel right in the middle of the Main Camp area.He brought along some ancient papers and documents and gave them to the scientists, probably to study them. Maybe he wants them to know who he is and where he is from, but why isn't he asking questions to them? Does he already know who they are and where they are from? *He seems to know much more than we could imagine*, Col.Kroncx told the Grand Ruler on his Video conference later that day.

The next day, without leaving a word,Oriol was gone again, and no one saw his Vessel leave, which already doesn't make a sound at all.
Scientists made copies of the documents and they were sent through the LBST right to the Urulian Specialist and THERE IT HAPPENED INSTANTLY, when Dr. Reye Tremsyl , a specialist in Uru's mysterious history and a first Class Anthropologist

 

When she received the document on her desk, first her eyes opened, then tears appeared in her eyes and she looked up at the Chief Scientist and said:  *I KNEW IT ....AND NOW IT IS CONFIRMED* *.......and she cried for all that it was worth........mumbling of something that she was looking for,for years and that it was the missing link to ....................

Heck, I didn't understand anything she said! I guess we have to wait until she calmes down and tells us what it is she sees on that document...............

Ok, I will be gone for almost two weeks , and I will know what she  found out then. Meanwhile keep this CJ alive and come back , ya hear?

I have to wait 2 weeks to find out what the document says? Your as bad as Frogface! You both have similar writing styles, always leaving me at the edge of a cliff. It's also a good way to make a story.
