Gold, Silver, lead and all explosives, also Plutonium cannot be shipped through the Light-beam, because of the molecules of these materials are strangely not excepted by the LBST, there might be more, but that's another story..........much later........2.gif

    well, a small chemestry correction:

if you meant PURE gold/silver/plutonium, it is because of their ATOMS, not because of their molecules, here is a smal explanation of what is atom and what is molecule:

    (the explosives are molecules)

LOL, I have NO idea of what you are talking about, but it sounds right.
But don't forget, this is a story (on Nexis), and their gold is not made of the same stuff as our gold here on earth.Their gold is blue and 16 times harder than ours ,their silver is black and and you can chew it, their Plutonium is liquid, but don't drink it, and their lead is as white as snow up north and you can feed chickens with it.............lol.And IT IS because of THEIR MOLECULES that they cannot be transported through the LBST.26.gif' Later you will find that out.

But hey,....Thanks very much for the small lesson, I have learned something! It is useful to know for our gold, silver, lead and Plutonium. You made us a little more smarter.

We, (humans) are limited to know these things, because we only know what is here on earth and maybe 2 or three other planets around us.
(My)Genesis is 158 universes away. Sorry, but YOUR nerdness is of no use here .41.gif'

lol if you say so, well I didin't know Genesis's chemistry was different from ours (writes down in this 5-page long copy of Genesis CJ history) this is INCREDBLE, you never thought to edit it into a book and sell it in simtrop store (to raise some $$$)4.gif

BTW is Nexis's math too different from ours? I mean is 2+2=3 there22.gif
Sory by that correction, but that error is soooo simple to make but it is too very basic, so messing thoose names mess with all chemestry 36.gif

A few years have passed in this Solar system and some things have changed. Some new folks have become a part of this story and others are gone forever.
Genesis is getting slowly populated and after Oriol's revealing proof, that Dr Reye Tremsyl has discovered in earlier years, things have dramatically changed in every aspect.-But before we get to this, I will do an complete update with no pics first and later this week, a lot of pics will become part of this CJ. The first villages, towns, farms, mines,etc.....
We found out that the LBST has its limits too.The machine cannot be used more than once every 100 hours or so, because of the reloading system being so slow and the danger of loosing precious lifes.Dr Daight Nexis, now almost 45 years old ( he has now a son and a daughter now, Ira and Vallen), has been working on this eversince, but can't seem to find a faster solution. Oriol had a look at the LBST and took a copy of it to his homeplanet ,to build one there and to keep contact with us all the time.Their intentions are not to invade Genesis, as he mentioned once. They were here only for curiousity.
It took only a couple of months after the completion of LBST for the first arrivals to come to Genesis. It works great in all aspects. Some minor adjustments have been done, since one fellow came out of it, with nearly 70 less hair.
Material and supplies have been sent to Genesis in thousands of tons andone even said, that the Planet Uru is now lighter in weight than before. That was a stupid remark!-- Everything has been turning around the LBST and Genesis Planet, so much, that even the Space Station has been abandoned and research projects to find other livable planets etc, have been cancelled.- Everyone on Uru now wants to come to Genesis, although Opall, the giant Meteor, is still some hundreds of years away. The new First Grand Ruler on Uru, Gyrp Meff,

    /idealbb/files/GrRulMeff.JPG
has slightly increased all Security all over Uru, just in case of a panic situation on behalf the general population.
12 Spaceships are on the way again to Genesis also, with a load of 3980 immigrants aboard. This is the third voyage of these vessels. They will reach their new home in less than 6 months.
    ok, some quick updates now:
    - Opall being still an estimated 378 years from Uru and will get close to Novabys (the dead planet) in the next 4 years.
    - The son of Daight Nexis,Vallen, now 18, is on Genesis since 2 years, studying the geology of the planet and his daughter Ira, 17 yo, is learning how the LBST could be improved with her father.
    - A new ,and a first too, Grand Ruler on Genesis has been elected.
    /idealbb/files/GrandRulerGenes.JPG
Marga Thammalk is now the Head of Genesis. Someone with new, but also somewhat agressive ideas.
    - Still doing a lot of researh on Genesis in all directions, now they have found a new region and called Autix. A town has been established there and connected with a simple road to the region of Genesis. Some smaller towns also arrised in the neighboring valleys of Genesis. The populaion of the new World is now near 5000 in all.
    - ....and now what everyone has been waiting for.....
Oriol has become a close friend and he is now a part of Genesis and Uru.But we have never made another contact with another Alien of his,but he is not alone, we know that, since we see many of their vessels here and there in the evening skies. He seldom will talk about his people, always saying that the time for this will come.-What we do know now from him, is that he is from the Planet Gabur, which we call Mahoon, surprisingly to some of our Scientists.
Also we know, that they have observation posts on Verto.....Hmm...to observe what though?
Then the documents that we received from him a few years ago, revealed something that took 6 years of hard work and research to confirm.
    /idealbb/files/AncientWords.jpg
( one page from the Ancient document of  Oriol)

Here is Dr Reye Tremsyl's report on this, two years ago:
*When we received the ancient scripts from Oriol six years ago, I knew right away, what it was that he wanted us to know, but proof to convince the population of Uru and the Rulers, took us scientists almost 6 years of intensive research.I personally spent all my life on this before.Oriol himself was not of much help, since he told us that we have already the answers in our history.
Approximately 35,000 years ago , here on Uru,was a civilized and advanced population of some Urulians, which left us many archeological proof on our planet. But their Civilization disappeared all of sudden without leaving any solid proof behind. Archeologists have only found some parts of their existance, but not enough to have given it a serious thought. His document was written the same way as our ancestors did, and probably it was written right here on Uru, and then went along with them to Mahoon, where they disappeared to. In their History it says, that the *Gods* have come and taken them to Mahoon, where they continued to evolute, now as an almost different species. The reason for this  was never mentioned. Some were left behind on Uru, which later became us , the Urulians.
Although we have lived and evoluted on different planets and far away for over 35,000 years, we are all brothers and sisters. But we are completely different in many ways. They have an advantage over us,because ,as Oriol told us, the Gaburans (people from Mahoon) have been observing us for more than 200 years now.(So, I guess, they must know us pretty much). Their population is a lot smaller than ours and only 390 Millions strong, while we have reached 7 Billion. They must still have a lot of room on their planet.-Now , Oriol will be the Ambassador for Mahoon on Genesis and Uru,which he already visited three times  now.
We will work together from now on and they will help us in the future with the problem we have  with the Meteor Opall.*
When this was broadcasted on all the Tv stations, it was a mess on Uru for a few days. These news were so hard to digest that Urulians still today are looking for answers.

    That's it for today..............25.gif

First let me tell you that the idea of a second LBST system would need to be build in two exemplars and which will cost so much that Urulia (Capitol of Uru) cannot afford it without going bankrupt. And also possible as Daight Nexis mentioned before, there could be an interference problem with two LBST's working in the same direction. And don't tell me to turn off one, while the other will be working, no sense, since it takes up to 3 weeks to have it charged for the first time and 100 hours after that. So, we are all better off with just one set working properly. The idea was good though!

Two small towns have been founded and two Mayors were elected. The first settlement on Genesis and then Tenzel Outlet on the Tenzel River's mouth.

    /idealbb/files/Reg13.JPG
First the Main Camp area, which now is called Gloryville.Approximately 3000 habitants. The Mayor is: Old Grunt Hielegrod,an old grunchy man of almost 100 years, but with all kinds of experience in Mayoring. He was elected by 82% of the population. Gloryville was the first Landing spot of Genesis (remember?) with the landing strip still intact, it probably will have the first airport in the New World. The Science Center still standing and used by many amateur scientists now has been giving the name of *The Kroncx Public Scientific Center*, in honor of Colonel Kroncx, who was the first Urulian who put his foot on Genesis.- This is still the Main Communication Station , but now connected with the new City Hall, which was built closer to the Sulphur healing springs. Because of these springs,a new immigrant buisness man built a Resort Motel, near the shores of the sulphur pond, which might help the tourism in Gloryville.
    /idealbb/files/Genesis
On the second picture of Gloryville , one can see the home of the First Ruler Marga Thammalk, a mansion of the highest quality ,built with imported materials from Urulia (the Capitol of Uru) only.-Behind the Science Ctr, one can also see the experimental gardens of some students. Herbs, medical and tasty, have been gathered from different places , but also some healing ones have been given by Oriol and will be tested in the not-yet-build new hospital.
    /idealbb/files/Genesis
On this third airial picture of Gloryville, we can clearly see the airport with the arrival Hall, where Immigrants, from Spaceships and the LBST, will be registered upon arrival. Also there is the Common living area, for all these workers, plus the first settlements still being exploited on the right, including the LBST.
    /idealbb/files/Genesis
Now, the neighboring newer town of Tenzel Outlet, called after the river that Rob Tenzel (one of the first arrivals through the LBST) has discovered, and which is still being followed upriver and probably the longest river of the Genesis Region so far. 1900 population and the Mayor is our old friend Mollock, the Science Officer of the first mission. It was decided to found a town here, because of the stragedic point of it, because it has access to the Tenzel river system and the sea, which connects three regions in all. Also the abundance of life in the river mouths  will bring enough food for thousands.--First at the beginning of this river, Tenzel has discovered a giant lake, and he thought that this was the source of the river, but days after he found out that the river only has made a larger version of itself, something like 30 kilometers larger, and it continues futher up.-This river will get special attention now from the scientists, which will get some cartography made by the vessel still in orbit of Genesis, and after being probed with boats going upriver to its source.Pictures of this River system will soon be published and shown here.
    /idealbb/files/Tenzel

Still , every 100 hours or so, something like 50 to 75 Urulians are being shipped through the LBST and arrivals are in several hundreds every week.-Since Land value is still very low costing on Genesis, many are looking for more places to build their settlements and the discovery fever has its toll too. Some have gone to far away from the Main settlement and encountered danger in all forms and some did not survive nature's own way to handle things on Genesis. Most of the corps have not been found , and some are burried here and there.Grand Ruler Thammalk has decided to make it the law, to have them burried in a certain designated area only, the cemetary, soon constructed in Gloryville.
The neigboring region also is growing and they even have started some kind of a highway, which will soon be connected with this region and the other region in the south too.So, with upcoming more traffic, almost every week, three regions will be connected to help each other with knowledge sharing and in economic ways.Soon a Highway will cut the Genesis region into two.
Vallen Nexis, the son of Daight (the Inventor of the LBST),has been looking around on Genesis so much, that no one actually knows where he might be at a certain time. People call him the *Nexis Explorer*. At this precise moment he is supposed to be somewhere in a mountain range with eternal snow, taking pics and samples of all kinds, at least that's what the commmunication Center has reported. He is there with a friend of his,Hockor Lobent,a younger student Biologist from Uru.
The first Baby born on Genesis is a girl, Maxille Tuper Funa, the daughter of Dr Funa, one of the first arrivals here.
The next time we will show you the results of Vallen Nexis explorations and also the discovery of the entire Tenzel river system, the founding of a new town nearby and the the celebration of the connection with the North and South region by the Highway 1.
Until then.............join and enjoy the adventures of *Nexis of Genesis*3.gif.... and  tell your friends to follow this story too.

I will do some more concentrating on some Nexis BATs now....

Be back with the journal in a week or less.

    Lucky ya All..........
I had some time this evening to make another update.Don't await one in the middle of the week though......lol1.gif

Vallen Nexis came back into town (Gloryville),after the abscence of more than a year, and reported all his discoveries and explorations. A map shows exactly where he went, and also where he built a camp with his friend, an Island that he wants to build his home on.The Nexis Island.

    /idealbb/files/NexisCamp.jpg
Very beautiful indeed, surrounded by mountains and a river system that will take years to explore.- He also saw the Eternal Snow region, which the Northern Region has much more of.Then he passed through a valley, which he said that he must come back to, because he did not have much time to spend there. An area that he couldn't take any pictures, because his camera did not function at the time.He will be back for sure.
    /idealbb/files/GenesisA.JPG

On this map, we have a good overlook of what is where sofar.

    /idealbb/files/GenesisB.JPG
A new town, called Axis, was founded, 9 years after the arrival of the first Urulians, on the Tenzel river banks only a few kilometers upstream of Tenzel Outlet. Oriol presented himself as the mayor and without any hesitation of the population, he was elected right away. He even built himself a house in the middle of the town, as if he will be staying here from now on.
    /idealbb/files/Axis3.jpg
Axis is a very important point in the Genesis region, since it has the Highway connection with the North and South regions.
    /idealbb/files/Axis2.JPG
This town will grow fast, because Oriol as Mayor is on demand, even for new arrivals from Uru. Construction is so busy, that there ain't enough workers. - Oriol made a demand to the First Ruler Thammalk to have shipped some of his folks to Uru to help out with many tasks. The demand was accepted and Oriol send the message to Mahoon.
    /idealbb/files/Axis5.jpg
It also has  a restricted area for the more important folks of Genesis, a place near the river of Tenzel. Even First Ruler Thammalk has her cottage here. Axis is the first town that has a Police Organisation and for the while being, these will be covering most of the region. In this *High Society* area, there will be a Police car steady on the road.
    /idealbb/files/Axis41.jpg
Meanwhile in Gloryville too, construction is busy and they finally built a small hospital for the regional need. A new and bigger Science Center was erected for the studying of the healing herbs that Oriol has introduced. A field is growing it just nearby the hospital and the Center.
The religous need of some called for the construction of a church in Gloryville, and many folks from Axis and Tenzel Outlet will come here often now. The Mayor saw an oppurtunity  to have build  a bigger commercial area, for all these people coming into town from everywhere. Maybe even a park or two , or a tourist attraction. Also in this church Vallen Nexis will get married to the daughter of Bimmel next month ( remember  Bimmel?)
    /idealbb/files/GloryvilleChurch.jpg
Here you can see that the Highway really cut through the Genesis region, deviding it into the East and West. First Ruler Thammalk did everything possible to have the highway built through Gloryville, but because of the geological situation of the town, Rulers on Uru have decided to place it in a more suitable area.-It would've been economicly very good for Gloryville. Now , I guess, it will be for Axis.
    /idealbb/files/Tenzel-Gloryville.JPG

    .........and .........it will continue soon.2.gif

Yes, there are a few of these High-Altitude lakes in this region, most of them not discovered yet. Ice lake is the biggest one though with crystal clear very cold  water, it is almost the size of a small City tile.
Another much smaller mountainlake can be seen on the West side of Shimac Mountain  on the bottom right of this satelite picture ;and west of Ice lake there are two or three more small ones.

    /idealbb/files/IceLake.JPG
Thanks for the comments, I was wondering again, if J.O. was the only one still reading this journal.1.gif lol

This is the first Regional Transportation Map of Genesis. A Transportation Office in Axis will be build soon.
Gloryville is thinking about a closer connection with the highway in the neighboring township. Also a group of  Gloryville habitants have decided to found another town on the Nexis River south, near the Highway. A bigger waterway than the Tenzel river.

This just came in from Uru on the tonight News.

**With help from the Space Station one's Mega telescope, we now have a picture of Opall, the Planetkiller Meteor. It is much bigger than we first thought, and Uru might just fit tightely in one of these canyons of this Rock**

It was heard on all news stations on Genesis (Radio and TV).

    /idealbb/files/OpallClose.JPG

.....more details on this to come soon.1.gif

No, this was done with the rain-tool, already in the game.

This is *Cold Lake*, done with the Raintool (search on ST for details), it makes water possible above the sealevel, but it does not save that water.........

So, this is what it looks like everytime you enter that City........

Then you can use the raintool to make this, but it does not save............

I personally don't mind doing it all over again and again, when I come here.It looks.........different and nice. 19.gifNo?

I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier, but I didn't know you were back. I had a lot of reading to do, but it was worth the time.1.gif

Finally, the Department of Cartography, with help from G-Spacer III (the spaceship that stayed in Genesis' Orbit since the first arrival and now serves as a satelite), Vallen Nexis and his explorations and many other Explorers have devided the region into several townships. Exactly 96 of them. Each township will need a Mayor in time to come. All are of the same size, give or take an acre or hectar.

    /idealbb/files/Genesis
South of Gloryville ,the New Director of the Urulian Oil Company, Nexis Oil, has founded a new settlement.*Oil was found here and we might as well have a town here too*, told Nexis Oil the Governor Thammalk . *This will need labour though and much of it.* The Mayor of this new township will be the Oil Corporation itself and governed by the Director.

Named after an old town on Urulia (Sholes), it has been named New Sholes. Situated on the Great River of Nexis, the Director has built his home near the river. Within a few weeks and already the first workers have built their homes and even some smaller buissnesses have arrived. This is promissing, with the good pay Nexis Oil offers to Laborers, and could be the beginning of a big City in the futur.
The Mega Oil Company has paid for the road and the bridges. And they said, that in a month or so, this will be connected with the Highway, west of New Sholes.

Is this the Beginning of a Mega City? The situation of the terrain looks good, flat land, close to the highway ,situted on the Nexis River, which connects with the sea and the Tenzel River system and also the possibility to find much more Oilfields in this area.
    Who knows........

    More to come later tonight.2.gif
